Makes sense. And I guess the SEC money and treatment is maybe better than the minors in some spots.

No disagreement here, other teams who were in the CWS last year are still competing for CWS this year. Just pointing out the portal window opening from 6/1-6/30 is a disadvantage to a lot of teams still playing

Opening it any later seems like a nightmare too from a school perspective… getting kids in school, classes approved and transferred, new housing set up in a month isn’t easy.
