Vol, what about O? I was so disappointed with the off the field issues. I’m a mom of young kids who look up to him. But I wouldn’t mind him staying on. He may not be able to with all the investigation stuff?
I'm glad someone has brought this up. Coach O's personal behavior in the last year has not been addressed. I'm not talking about the divorce, that's his own business, but other behavior since which I don't feel is very esteemable. Glossing over this with staff changes is building on a foundation that has issues. Tigers would have forgive his behavior if he acknowledged it and pledged to do better. Absent that, I don't think he can be a foundation for the program that we all want as a representative of LSU and the Tiger spirit.

I'm not the biggest O fan but good luck finding a winning coach who isn't a piece of shite

Nielsen + bo Davis seems repetitive Nielsen has never called a defense either
So 2 DL coaches and Nielsen has never been a DC?
We need a DC that has expertise with coaching the LB position.
INB4 someone says Aranda.

exactly which was part of why I was somewhat split on using title ix to oust him. you do that and it boxes you into good guy hires and they just aren't alot of them.
the best in the coaching business have an edge to them. Nick Saban isn't a nice guy and he breaks rule after rule by staying in a gray area. Urban is a first class piece of shite that lets his players get away with actual murder but the dude wins.
You don't become the best by refusing to get dirty now and again.

He's the Bo Pelini of the Cowboys. They have the worst D in the NFL.

Didn't he and Raymond play together?

like you said, Brady had a lot more to work with last year. :-)
My point exactly, and I'm not saying Brady can't coach, but without a super talented roster his offense looks pedestrian.
On the other hand, how much better would Brady have done with this year's team considering what he would have had to work with.

Ah haven't watched NFL this year, knew he worked wonders with the saints lb before he left

Basing this on one season in the NFL, when he went to a team that fired their whole coaching staff because the team sucked, and has missed his best offensive player for 11 games, is a stretch.
I would bet the opinion of NFL people is he did a good job this year. So yes, I think LSU's offense would've been quite a bit better this year if Brady was still around.

Nielsen was the Defensive coordinator at Central Connecticut State in 2008 and 2009 and the Co-defensive coordinator at Northern Illinois in 2012.

TBL, Vol and multiple others have confirmed that significant coaches changes are in the works.
TBL has stated that money is tight and will effect changes.
Vol is saying that money is not a problem.
If money is tight, wouldn’t it make sense to take a flier on a young guy like Calloway. Freeman is only making $600k.
