This is a good idea if all teams across cfb have to abide by it.

It's a detrimental idea if only the SEC is gonna abide by it.

The presidents are literally the ones voting on it. If it passes it will be because the president want it to pass.

I doubt he's unilaterally pushing for this without the support of the SEC membership, but who knows. As another poster pointed out, this will not work unless all conferences adopt.

Other fanbases were laughing at the SEC putting their foot down on us, now everyone will be impacted by Sankey and the presidents power tripping

A week can't pass without this fricker stirring up whatever shite to make the news. If it's not against LSU, he'll just find something else to hop on.

Not really, LSU is much more likely to get quality SEC portal players than lose them. This hurts the top 3 spenders (LSU, Texas, A&M) and helps the middle and low end spenders.

Saw someone on the SECRant say, "If it's stupid, Sankey is all in"

Is it possible that LSU and Lane Kiffin has really scared the conference this much? Normally I would think that idea is insanity, but look at some of the stuff the SEC has tried to do recently with no logical reasoning. This is another one. Ole Miss doesn't want its players coming to LSU. Bama, Georgia, Tennessee, scared it happens to them, and now you get a rule that is detrimental to every member just to make sure LSU doesn't get ahead.

It would be the literal definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

It seems outlandish to even think that this could even be a possibility. But now, is it really that outlandish?

Unless of course you transfer to bama. In that case immediate eligibility and they will add a 6th year to your contract

He never passes up an opportunity to make a fool out of himself.

Like Roger Goodell, I guess his job is safe as long as the television revenue keeps flowing in.

Isn't there a a potential universal sitting out a year after a 1 time transfer rule coming for everyone? Of course that's provided it passes. That's much better than this which would only hurt the SEC.

The SEC is getting ridiculous. I really hope Sankey is removed.

Having Sankey in the SEC is akin to having Muslims in Goverment
