re: Skenes, Shaq, or Burrow?

Shaq. That would mean my son is the coolest guy on the planet.

I didn’t realize he faked injuries on O too. What was the strategy there?

Coach gets to huddle with offense minus one guy without burning a timeout.

Now what will Lane do?

He will have a designated guy on defense who is given the instruction “if they get a first down or start going tempo, get down and stay down.” I like that faking injuries are being addressed but you can’t 100% stop it.
If you’ve got $50 and want to watch BP, it’s great. I doubt this is going to be popular thing but it’s an easy way to get some money from early admission and concessions since they take BP anyway.
Does LSU play any good teams or is every loss because they are overrated?

I don’t know if you’ve been reading other threads on this message board. It seems you are wrong. The season is over. LSU will not win another weekend series and will be lucky to make a regional.
I swear some of you dummies on here think that LSU should sweep every series and that losing a road series is grounds for firing the head coach.

Why take a dump on PM? He won a championship at LSU and played for another title, made it to Omaha a few other times, and ran a clean program. His time at LSU ran up and it was time to move on but he cleaned up Smoke’s mess and set the table for JJ.

re: Arm Management

Perhaps you’re right and I was too confident in my post. My post wasn’t meant to call you out. You seem to know a good bit about baseball. If there is no difference between MLB arm management with playing so many more games, then let me know. It just seems hard to believe they are managed the same way but I’m far from a pitching coach or manager.

The last time an mlb pitcher threw 135 pitches in a game was in 2010. It is an outrageous number of pitches, objectively.

Objectively MLB teams have 13 pitchers on each roster and play over 100 more regular season games than college teams. Comparing college arm management and MLB management is apples and oranges.

Agreed

The complaining has complete justification at this point.

Complaining about the coach, the record, the losses, etc is justified. Complaining about the current ranking of the transfer portal class seems like complaining just to have something to complain about.
Is there nothing that you basketball guys won’t complain about?
Because screw Auburn. That’s why.

anything less than a run rule tomorrow is not acceptable

Then what should the consequences be if it’s not a run rule?

Texas is good. LSU is good. The SEC is loaded. Any off game or weekend will make things look really bad, like this weekend. If the bullpen issues continue for the next 2-3 weekends, then get concerned. But LSU having a tough first road weekend against the #8 team in the country doesn’t mean the season is doomed. Some of you need to get a grip.

IF he is such a great hitter, why the heck is he batting 9th.

Because that’s where the coach puts him. He’s batting .330 and is on base around .450-.500, which gets the top of the order back up. This isn’t hard.

Get real man. If you’re bitching about Stanfield who is batting .330 over Kling who was close to a guaranteed strike out, I don’t know what to tell you.

He’s hitting about .330 and rarely strikes out. He is always on base. If this is because he didn’t dive for that ball in CF or bobbling it, then flip over to basketball because you don’t know what you’re talking about.
