It’s pretty easy to say LSU makes the playoffs with no injuries, better QB and OL play, and an easier schedule. I’m sure there are 20 teams that could say that.

UF would have instead finished 5-7 instead of 4-8.

No. BK gets canned no matter what after that skull dragging LSU took at the hands of TAM.

Indeed. LSU has already won the offseason NC before it has begun.
And then you’ll complain about LSU and the game day experience being “too corporate.” That is what will happen if you get rid of the student section.

A good way to make sure your donor base dries up is denying the students a reason to want to donate in the first place.
[quote]They got in because of their name. For anyone else, a 14 point beatdown by a 5 loss team and total buttfricking in the SEC championship game with 3 total losses would have kept them out.[/quote

Alabamas losses just don’t matter like everyone else’s. The playoff committee isn’t concerned with anything but cashing in on name recognition and eyeballs for money. Notre Dane just lost the coin toss so Alabama got in.
Brian Kelly. Top of the list. Quality coach, driven, head in the game, would fit into the state of Iowa like a glove. Go get him, ISU.

The DL could get nasty. I hope they live up to the hype. I miss the days where the DL was a bunch of pissed off dudes ready to wreck up front.

Uh if I'm going to an established great company and they are paying me well I could care less who my boss is going to be. I am going to work for the COMPANY and because of that I trust they will put someone competent as my boss. Either you want to be at LSU or you don't.

Except in this analogy, he is at LSU for a “promotion” to the NFL. If his “boss” is a bum that will negatively impact his ability to maximize that promotion, he will look elsewhere.
Or maybe with recent news of the DC interviewing for another job has him wanting to see how it plays out? This seems like the most logical explanation.

Maybe let’s not fire the entire remaining staff over 1 recruit being uncertain of things based on recent developments.
Why not go get a young buck hungry to win like Lou Holtz?

Dude get real. You had a good point brewing until this. Ole Miss as a program isn’t in the same universe as Tennessee and USC. Ole Miss has never even been to the SECCG. Ever.
Dude chill out. This season is a bust, he won’t be HC next year (probably), and has been on the coaching staff for 10 years. He won his first game as HC in Tiger Stadium. Just take the win.

But I would definitely yell at him

I doubt it but I’m curious what you think you would say. If he sat down in a restaurant, you as a complete stranger in a public place, would walk up to him and yell what?

And this is just the way the game is played with recruiting now. I don’t like it either but maybe get those meds adjusted if it’s affecting you like this.

frick him, may his plane crash and burn to the ground, and they mark the spot so I can annually piss on it and curse his name forever. It’s open season on this mfer and the there is no bag limit or illegal hunting hours.

Calm down tough guy.

If you were at a restaurant and he walked in, what would you really do? My guess is mumble under your breath, do nothing, then go home and yap on TD about how you showed him up.

Pedo state has no expectations. He can win 9-10 games a year with that soft schedule and be fine

PSU made the playoff last year and he still got canned this year. Outside of PSU, OSU, and Michigan, I would agree with 9-10 wins is a career job. Not at those 3 B10 schools.
I want to believe but Alabama’s DL and LBs will annihilate LSUs OL.
I couldn’t care less what his thoughts on the state of LA are. The only requirement of the job is winning football games. That is it. This whole “one of us” stuff is so lame. BK is an unlikable prick, but everyone would give him a pass if he was winning.

what are we going to do, sit around and let the conference laugh at us and bully us?

Yes. We are not players or coaches and have no control over these things. LSU is on its way to a 7-5, maybe 6-6 year and the trajectory of the program is a nose dive.
