Good for him, but revenue is not profit. I'd like to see the bottom line.

Remember when Les went off when a reporter asked about Shepard underperforming. Then he finished with " Give him a kiss on the cheek. If you are a girl."

Oh the jokes one can make now about "passing" and Shepard.

Good for him. He was a great ambassador for LSU, even when things didn't go as planned.

There was an episode of dirty jobs with a guy who owned a septic tank business. Mike asked him what advice he had and the dude said “People say follow your passion. Follow what pays. I didn’t know I was passionate about other people’s poop until it made me rich”

Pretty sure this was talked about a year or so ago. Recently sure but I remember this because my friend is a Giants fan.

No he didn’t. He took in that much revenue. He then has to subtract expenses to get to the bottom line. At that point he was probably making close to nothing.

Good for him, though. If he stays after it he’ll make it…again.

I know that revenue does not equal profit, but I am close friends with a family in this business in the Shreveport area and they do very, very well. Dad started out as a plumber out in the country, eventually expanded to grease trap cleaning and then to porta potties.

why do you think this poster is a moron???

He's absolutely correct - revenue isn't profit.

And this isn't meant to be negative toward Shep. He was a great guy when he was here and we all knew he was preparing for life after the NFL and he seems to be doing very well.

But revenue isn't profit.

I’ve always had huge respect for the way he behaved as a recruit. No games, committed and that was it.
