Poster on recruiting board posted that Royal was offered a starting spot and $15M for 4 years if he committed on his visit or the offer would be pulled.

Doubtful they gave the kid an ultimatum mid season. Also doubtful they told the #1 WR it’s for 4 years.

I hope all this crap is over with and he sticks with them. I think we can spend the money on much bigger needs than wide receiver for sure. However, I would like to keep Hudson.

Disappointing for sure. But there’s not much loyalty anymore, to a school, or a State. I miss the stories of kids growing up, dreaming of playing at LSU. These days, it’s all about the money.

Royal is very good and I think he will be a great player but you can’t just spend an infinite number on him. You have to spend that type of money on proven guys
