re: Most broken you've been after a loss? - Flyin'Cajun
Yeah, it’s been referenced already and I’m still in pain. To add to it, I’m married to a grad from that damn school and live in that damn state. :banghead:...

re: What will it take to reduce the obesity rate in the US? - Flyin'Cajun
Change the way food is produced here. Everything has high fructose corn syrup in it. Sugar. Sugar and yup, more damn sugar. Crappy food is cheap and good food is expensive. An economic collapse would do it too though. :usa:...

re: What were you doing on 9/11? - Flyin'Cajun
Overslept my 8am class at LaTech. Girlfriend called and told me to go turn on the TV, which I did and watched in disbelief. Fast forward to tomorrow, I’ll be flying a CRJ for an airline. Kinda strange that I’ll be flying on the anniversary of that event. ...

re: Home defense pistol recommendations update: bottom of OP - Flyin'Cajun
I’d go with a Judge. Shoots .410 shells as well and there’s some mean home defense shells you could purchase to go with it. If you’re looking for good priced pistols, check out aimsurplus.com. They have some really nice law enforcement trade ins right now. Sig Sauer P226’s, among others. ...

re: I am cautiously optimistic for this upcoming football season - Flyin'Cajun
I’m glad that the team is getting little respect. Under the radar is better than lofty expectations. This can motivate a team to be better and who knows what will happen? Geaux Tigers!! ...
how haphazardly women load the dishwasher.
I thought I was the only one who thought this, thanks. There's a process to loading that dishwasher, they just don't get it. ...

re: Best fixed blade camping/survival knife - Flyin'Cajun
I do apologize for the way too late response to this. You could probably search online for instructors in your area and what courses are available. When I was teaching survival, it was for a military contract and while I did not instruct on the side, a couple of my former coworkers did. I miss the w...

Angel Care monitors for peace of mind when the little guy/girl is sleeping. And some sort of diaper genie. They work, believe me. ...

re: Name a Bama weakness - Flyin'Cajun
Well, their punt returners fumble a lot. It's only a matter of time before they do that at a critical time in the game and it costs them. And, they know they are good. ...

re: Feel about as good as you possibly can after a loss - Flyin'Cajun
I wish I could feel the same way. I hate losing to those guys. I'm concerned Poche won't be on, and they steal the second game. Who knows? I do still like LSU's chances. ...

re: Glock 19, HK VP9 or P320? - Flyin'Cajun
Depends on you. I've owned the Glock 19 and love Glocks overall but I prefer the Sig P320 Compact 9 over the G19. It's all about what is the most comfortable for you. ...

re: Best fixed blade camping/survival knife - Flyin'Cajun
There's no need to spend that much for a quality survival knife. I'm a survival instructor and I carry a $30 knife. It's a Schrade SCHF52 Frontier. You just need a full tang, no serrations knife and you're in business. A thick blade is good if you're looking to split wood with it. I'll admit I have ...

re: Let's talk Bug Out Bags/Go Bags and where to start - Flyin'Cajun
I can understand this thought process. The reality is that in today's world, most folks simply do not know how to do stuff like folks did in the old days. Those skills are priceless. If the shumer actually does hit the fan, most people won't last all that long. The grocery stores will run out of foo...

re: Let's talk Bug Out Bags/Go Bags and where to start - Flyin'Cajun
No, no you won't. And they are called magazines. Not clips. That's just one of the reasons I know you won't take my stuff. Looks like I'll get another AR and a few extra mags if you come my way. :usa:...

Sig Sauer P229 @ Aimsurplus.com - Flyin'Cajun
For those that may be interested, Aimsurplus.com is running a sale on Law Enforcement Trade In Sig Sauer P229's for $450 w/one magazine. The magazines are also being sold for $18. I've never purchased a LEO trade in but considering this particular pistol is normally sold for around a grand, I figure...
