The difference is marginal. We just have more creativity on offense. Kentucky was able to find better value at less money

But also more NIL $ for us
So we can overpay for underperformers. Yay!

Use the money for a GREAT portal reciever or at least two GOOD portal receivers.

Who needs elite playmakers when we can have OGs who get their shite pushed in and a defense that bends over and takes it with no lube

I was a star wr with a scholarship at a private academy in high school. I transferred to a big school and ended blocking the rest of my games. I regret it and he will too.

That kid is nothing more than a prostitute.

Money chasing Playmaking WR at brother Martin playing a bunch of catholic white boys or a play making WR in the transfer portal playing against all D1 athletes with experience.
I know who I’m taking.

Paying a ton of money for a HS kid makes no sense to me. We'll be fine. He'll get use to losing and will likely transfer out after his freshman year.

Use that money to get some Olinemen.
This was true going into this season and it’s true now.

Hopefully LSU sits this one out, dodged a bullet with the Michigan QB, who was also going to the highest bidder
Just not worth it.

Whether we like it or not, in today’s world of recruiting, it’s all about who’s offering the most money.

I saw him play once. It was this year against Jesuit. His athleticism really popped, but I was unimpressed with his receiving skills. I have heard that he was recovering from sickness, though, so that could explain it.
Anyway, in today’s climate we should not get overly focused on the local guys unless their love of LSU causes them to be willing to take less NIL in order to go there. A player’s value is no longer the only criteria; coaches now have to consider their value compared to their asking price - sort of like having an NFL salary cap.

LSU already told him their offer is maxed out. Let him chase the $
I liked it when kids just loved the opportunity to play for LSU or whichever team they liked most.

I’d argue that Ahmad Hudson is the more important recruit. WR’s grow on trees.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if UF's current OC Buster Faulkner moves on...
