The reasoning was not to help the football search. It was to put a yes man Landry and boosters could control in the AD.
Rousse’s instincts were probably to have a national search, but he’s compromised to Landry and his BOS appointments.
We are so fricked, whatever small momentum we had post Rousse/Dalton is more than wiped out now. Wilson could well be the hire.
