The SEC will argue LSU/Wade encouraged him to file the suit.

Id imagine a judge would require proof. And how exactly is that against any rule?

Clayton clarified that LSU and its basketball program have no involvement in his client’s latest legal actions. “LSU has nothing to do with it,” he said. “I'm sure LSU doesn't like the fact that we sued them. I know coach Wade does not like the fact that I had to sue his immediate supervisor. But it's not about them. "It's about RJ Luis, and I hope that LSU understands it. If they don't, that's on them. It's not about LSU. LSU is being forced not to allow RJ to exercise his constitutional right to play basketball. So it's not personal.”

It would require proof, and therefore allow both parties to conduct discovery, take depositions under oath, prolong the litigation, etc. It's just not worth this much heat over one player IMO.

frick that. Roster him and play him.

I WANT them to kick us out of this shithole, backstabbing, worthless fricking conference. If this is the means to that end, then so fricking be it.

You're confusing the suit Luis filed with the federal suit filed in Alabama. Clayton and Luis have no involvement in that, and whatever public statements Clayton has made are not evidence in either suit.

Correct, he was IN the draft, went undrafted, and signed a CONTRACT with a pro team.......

Glad the semantics of the statement gave you a little life...

Enjoy the unicorn fairy dust

This retard said LSU needed to quit messing with the SEC over this meanwhile the facts are that the player and HIS legal team are the ones still pursuing this. Not LSU. And yet you are here acting as the arbiter of truth.

And you are assuming we are behind it right in spite of direct statements to the contrary

If you want LSU to be as successful as possible you do not want this.

All this bs is not worth it

LSU hasn’t missed the football ones and as far as basketball be thankful you got the intl players cleared
You still might lose dent

I'm not assuming anything. I'm just saying if we roster him it could come back to bite us whether in litigation or otherwise. We already have a target on our back. Better to let sleeping dogs lie sometimes.

RJ Luis needs to get a job. Go play overseas, bro. It's over.

They won’t roster him just like they didn’t roster the two football players. This is all so Luis could potentially get settlement money one day.

Maybe you don't get it. We're obviously hated here. Not just Sankey... But by our conference partners. Georgia's AG has openly called for punishment, several other schools have called for our expulsion or at the very least, sanctioning Lane. And now they're coming for Wade.

Just post around on the SEC Rant and you'll see it. We're very publicly hated by our former "friends" here.

And now with a 9 game conference schedule, it's certainly not easier for us. Nor will it ever be. You'll see it when half the conference is getting shafted for 3 losses vs several other CLEARLY lesser talented 1 or 2 loss teams.

LSU could be far more successful, and far more appreciated at the Big 10/12 or ACC. I don't like towing the line with people who hate us. They don't deserve us as partners and it's time to go.

I get your argument but I just can’t buy into the Big 10 or the lesser conferences. I don’t care if we are the black sheep of the SEC. I’d rather be hated than watching us play UCF every year
