Because when you have a top tier search firm the internal candidate is put through the same vetting process as all the other candidates. That’s how you find out whinis the best candidate for the job and it eliminates internal bias. Which is how you conduct a professional search. Which LSU is not doing for AD or HC

Well I have to be honest for all the fussing that's been on here on the tiger Rand about the guy coming over from McNeese State and what a hatchet man he was and what have you? I thought this would be a welcome relief like they always says you can please some of the people some of the time you're not going to please all the people all the time. You're only going to please all the people some of the time
