Thanks for all the recs!

Yeah, I know. It was the only weekend that worked for everyone, but should still be a blast.

Wisconsin/Madison Game Day

Posted by am4titansandlsu on 11/7/25 at 10:34 am
Going to Madison this weekend to check off a Badgers game off the bucket list with some friends.

Know there are some Badger fans on here and others who have gone to a game there, so wanted to see if any of you had any recs of places we should hit up tonight/tomorrow before the game, things we can’t miss other than Jump Around, etc. We’re in our early to mid 30s, so can do college bars or the older crowd too.

Any suggestions on where to catch the LSU game after that’s in walking distance of the stadium would be much appreciated too!
We had one of the most expensive rosters in college football this year, but lacked good coaching. You can see the results.
I’m definitely going to give him a chance, but his fate is 100 percent tied to this football hire.

Knock it out of the park and let’s ride. Make an underwhelming hire that sets us back years and it’s not going to be pretty.
Ole Miss has a 2003 “SEC West Banner” since they never win anything even though LSU beat them head-to-head and actually won the division on the way to an SEC and national title.

LSU meanwhile has three national championship flags flying since that time.

That pretty much sums it up right there.

No legit coach candidate is going to want to join an athletic department who wasn’t hired by the AD. Our best bet is to hire a very qualified and legitimate AD immediately following the new president announcement and let them lead the charge.
You’re so, so wrong. We’re going to probably settle for a C or D list candidate after this. Before the low IQ governor opened his mouth, we were by far the top opening in college football and had many saying we were a top 5 job in the sport. Not after this shite show.

Someone please get this guy as far away from the coaching search as possible and put the adults who understand the college football landscape back in charge.

How did that go with Washington and Alabama hiring their coach? If Ole Miss makes it hopefully they don't have a BYE and they get bounced quickly. If Alabama can hire their guy January 12 I think LSU can and should wait on their guy.

It’s a lot more complicated than that now. They changed the transfer portal to only be for one 10-day period starting Jan. 2.

One went to ULL and only cares about LSU as a way to get himself publicity, while the other is an LSU alumnus who truly cares about the University.

Pretty easy choice, Woodward.
He didn’t if we end up replacing Kelly with someone way worse.

Which we’re currently on the track for with him running his mouth like this.

re: Roll Call: LSU at Vandy

Have more than 25 of us going. Coming in from all over the country for this one.
I’d say Nola is 70-75 percent LSU and 90 percent Saints, but the state as a whole is flipped with those numbers since LSU is definitely more popular overall.

Like any major city, there are a significant number of people in Nola who moved there from other states.
I’m doing Florida and South Carolina this year at home, then Vandy and Ole Miss on the road.

Since you’re in TN, I’d definitely do the Vandy game in Nashville too if you can. Will basically be an LSU “hone game.”

Once the Titans get their new stadium, Nashville is going to make this list.

All of the bars on Broadway are going to be a quick walk across the bridge to the stadium and we’re building an entertainment district around it as well.
LSU has three national championships in the last 21 years while Notre Dame and Penn State have combined for a big fat zero in that time span.

Results speak for themselves. Sounds like a salty, shortsighted article to me.
I read an article that said we have the third largest NIL collective behind only Ohio St and Texas.

I think we just drew the line on how much we’d play a single player and Michigan went all in on him.
Crowd can make more of an impact than ever now that teams have radio communication in the helmets for the qb.
