Dude where do you people come from man I mean we won a series and I listened to Todd Walker last week who said that Kentucky is not a mediocre team. They're the top half of the SEC. Dude. Where do you people come from? I have never seen so many negative fans on a.no wonder Nick Saban didn't want to stick around here. We got the most negative fans some of the most negative fans that I've ever seen
Because of this arrest anybody in Florida? Will there be a re-election in this special district? I mean in this special election will there be a re-vote now or is this over with?
Love the Darth Vader reference but more than that being an old NASCAR fan and when I say old I'm not talking about the new NASCAR. the intimidator. Wow! I'm just thinking of seeing that black magic number 3 in the rear view mirror with the black goggles and the black helmet dude you could not have put it any better. Thanks for posting!
Thanks chicken. I know you were involved in bringing the general back. Appreciate you my brother. You and tiger droppings definitely is bringing back the general. Appreciate you
Don't have a lot of money but as the old saying goes pennies makes dollars. I'll donate what I can for sure. Go Tigers!
You are correct, the 13th gate was in the livestock area behind the Parker coliseum. I think the very first year may have been in one of the old dormitories. I can't remember. I do remember going to a haunted house over in LSU in a three or four story dormitory but that's before it was the 13th gate. But you are correct. Real good friends with Saundra Lane who was a big part of the 13th gate as was Gerry Lane enterprises sponsoring and definitely the livestock area behind the coliseum was the original 13th gate
Thanks for all the replies my tiger brothers. So glad to see so many of you. That post here was there with me at both games that Friday night game where we flat got after Arkansas and then the Wichita State game. I think one time I remember. I think it was Tyrone black turned around and had a clear way to go and just stuffed it right through that. Superdome went crazy. What a great time it was. I think that was during the Wichita State game. But thank you all for responding. Glad to know we were all tiger Brothers together. Go Tigers!

Basketball LSU versus Wichita State

Who on this site was at the LSU versus Wichita State game 45 years ago to the date on a Sunday down in the Superdome when we defeated Wichita State to make it to one of our first final fours. that weekend I was down there the Friday night when we walloped Arkansas and Eddie Sutton paying them back for one of our only losses early in the season and then getting Wichita State on that Sunday. What a day to remember. some great basketball dates back then. Even if Dale Brown wasn't the greatest of coach, he was a salesman and he did bring some excitement to LSU basketball at one time. Go Tigers. Just curious as to who was all there 45 years ago to the date and on a Sunday
What is it with their eyes? I mean every one of them. Their eyes just flat. Give them away. Crazy
And stop and think about what you're posting there which I think is right on point men's basketball. As sorry as it has been the last 4 years still turns a profit. Now. If you have a winner, how much more of a profit would that sport be turning? I know it's more than just butts in the seats, but when you have more butts in The seats you're selling more programs. You're selling more concessions that all has to add up and as much as I am a baseball fan, it's something else that baseball loses money, which when we talk about revenue sharing the real hard-liners for baseball. Have to think about that. anyway. I want us to be great in every program and of course women's basketball I'm pulling for. have gone to the games and will continue to pull for her. But we do need to look at cutting expenses somewhere in there if we're losing that much money
I hope you're right my brother. I have been in LSU basketball fan ever since Pete maravich played in the ag center for the Tigers and this is really been a rough 4 years for sure. I don't care who the coach is. It just can't be Matt McMahon. If it's Wade that's great, but this cannot continue and I know the blame needs to go to Scott Woodward. As a matter of fact, the board of supervisors should take and I know I'm just kidding myself. Some money away from Scott Woodward and help with some of these payoffs of these contracts that he did. Of course the board of supervisors approved them so they're to blame too. But watching for the first time in a long time. Other than McKinnon and Nwoko this team is pretty bad and their coached pretty bad. Also. I do hope you're right. Again, I don't care if they promoted an assistant. Matt McMahon cannot be here next year in my opinion
Any folks on here that will remember when Saturday night live was actually funny and really good. They will remember. phil Hartman's deep thoughts by Jack Handy and just wanted to share this and kind of get everybody's opinion. I had recently been telling my children and grandchildren that Jimmy Carter before he passed had to be very excited because he lived to see the day to see a president that was worse than him and that being Joe Biden. But the more I've gone back and remembered when I was a freshman at LSU and we had the overthrow of Iran and doing some studying and knowing that Jimmy Carter basically silently sided with the Ayatollah against the shaw of Iran and everything that we are dealing with and have been dealing with Iran since 1979 leads me to believe that Carter did not live to see the day somebody worse than him. At the very least, him and Biden have to be tied for the two worst presidents of the United States. Your thoughts?
Wow that's all I can say to that speech. That is right on the money is wow
No, I don't think so. I mean what bush and Cheney and rumsfeld did in Iraq. We all know was a lie but we very much know that Iran has nuclear capabilities. So just my opinion, a warhawk is somebody that goes after a needless war. This is something that is needed. Just my opinion
I would say yes. Whether they should or not is up to debate but I would believe if they get invited they will go. Just my opinion
Well once again thank you chicken. I've been following this board for a long time. Every time the Olympics come on I'm in the Olympics. Bored until we meet again in La on July 14th. 2028 sayonara goodbye and look forward to the next Summer Olympics board chicken. Again thank you so much my brother

I'm like you really got into it this winter Olympics and enjoyed watching. I do not believe the men made it to the metal round. The USA women's made it to the medal round but then lost out in the medal round and we finished 4th and of course in the mixed Corey Thiesse in Corey dropkin on the silver medal
Definitely. As you mentioned number one was the women beating Canada in hockey and our men beating Canada in hockey. Obviously number one choices, but besides that I really enjoyed several moments. But I guess my next favorite moment was Alana Myers Taylor winning the mono bobsled and getting her gold. I mean what an accomplishment with two children staying right there with support from her husband and getting the gold. That was probably my next favorite moment, although others were close to that

I just hope and pray that the next Winter Olympics being in France does not try to repeat an opening ceremony of that massacre that was in Paris of all the Olympics I've been watching and I've been watching since 1972. That was the worst opening ceremony of anything I've ever seen that of what we saw in Paris. Again, hopefully the more country folk of the French out will put on a opening ceremony. Much like what we just seen in Milano and cortina. Very classy very good. Enjoyed both the opening and the closing ceremonies
