If the reports were to be believed that we just offered him 1 mil/year, I’m not surprised. I can’t tell if he was just damned and determined to go back to the NFL or we got outbid. I get that Aranda is a more proven coordinator, but goddamn how the frick do you not throw at least 1.9 or 2 flat at someone with the talent that Brady has already shown IN HIS FIRST frickING YEAR. God fricking dammit. I hate the fricking panthers with every fiber of my being. Good luck, Brady.

The playbook doesn’t leave with Brady. Brady didn’t develop the entire offense by himself. He got a lot of credit for it, but there are others that were help supporting him that will still be there.

I’m not exactly worried.

Brady used LSU as a stepping stone
What does this even mean? You think he wants to be a passing game coordinator his whole career?

Can’t blame him. If he has success there for a couple of years he’ll find himself HC for someone like the Dolphins or Jets.

I say we promote Munoz to keep E together with him and the system.

DJ Mangus will probably go with Brady. Munoz is one of the finalists for the Oregon OC position, Decoster is leaving too.

I guess this also probably means Panthers are in the market for a Quarterback in the draft ?

We could cherry-pick pretty much any OC we want at this point.

Exactly...I trust that Coach E can still run this offense. We've seen glimpses of it before, just never full throttle like this year.

Interesting fact. The Caroline Panthers owner is worth 12x the endowment of LSU.

Money talks.

I figured that he was going back to the pros all along. I am more pissed about the possibility that Panthers will have an awesome offense now than I am worried about LSU.

You don’t just run fricking plays. You have to be innovative, watch film, and install different things. E has been a OC for like 20 yrs and his stats aren’t that great. If all we needed to do was buy a playbook we could’ve easily of done that without Brady.

I want E to stay OC but Brady was willing to be a de facto co-oc not sure how long we can keep that up with guys. But we need someone paired with E. We saw his numbers in 2018 and it wasn’t enough.

Honestly if He could we would have ran it last year!
The offensive success was mostly due to Brady and his renovations on the Saints playbook. I have know Steve for a long time and he is a great guy BUT..this offense was Bradys..don't kid yourself this hurts.

And the genie has been let out the bottle. With what that offense just showed LSU coaches and fans no way in hell is it changing that much.

Crappy timing but I’m not overly concerned myself.

Screw Brady. Good luck trying to figure out how to coach bud, you won’t have a personnel advantage in every position.

He will, however have Christian McCaffery — a guy who just dropped a 1,000 rushing and receiving season.

Also, Carolina is in a nice spot to maybe trade up for a qb.
