Brady helped, but Burrow was obviously the key component.

Brady showed LSU how to take advantage of Burrow/WR talents. Without Brady 2019 don't happen even if it was lightning in a bottle....Also we had all the same players the year before and we didn't go nuts like we did in 2019. Bottom line is without Brady BDjoe don't get to showcase his talents, we would have run the same shite as we did in 2018 and anyone who disagrees is full of shite and trying to discredit Brady now because he left and don't want to return.

The more we see results from coaches on the 2019 staff WITHOUT tGoat, the more it becomes clear that he was the driving force behind that team.

Anyone who thinks it was one thing has a screw loose. That being said, with the same cast of characters and assuming Arranda stays, we win with Kelly with any number of coaching combinations other than O with Brady. We may not have the numbers but we win.

Brady is a risk taker as a play caller, he had the group to do that with at LSU but not in Carolina. I think if we had Herman we would have looked pretty similar, TBH.

And don't underestimate the job Brady did in getting those receivers to start dropping fewer balls. That elevated LSU's production and pushed those guys draft stock up as well.

How about we just be happy that all those pieces coalesced just when they did.

2019 offense was the perfect concoction of coaches and players coming together. Joe Burrow was great but he needed Joe Brady to introduce the new concepts to the offense. Joe Brady was great at doing that but he needed a veteran OC like Ensminger to design the game plan and call the plays.

Not trying to be an arse, but my God , this is brought up constantly and for the life of me I’ve never understood why it’s even brought up.

One is a coach and the others a player, I’d say players are more important considering it’s impossible to play the game without them

But to give an answer, burrow would be a better version of what he was in 2018 , if we never got Brady. he got better in 19 ,it wasn’t just the change in offense.

The thing that proves that the most is the fact that he’s really good in the nfl now when he’s under center running play action. If it was just the offense we ran in 2019 then he wouldn’t be tearing the nfl apart running play action under center

It wasn’t just 1 guy. We had a dominant team

Y’all get mad but here’s a bitchslap of truth - the man that built it is Ed Orgeron

Joe Burrow - Ed brought him in when everyone else but Cincinnati passed

Justin Jefferson- O caught shite for taking a 3*/2* WR

Jamar Chase - O landed him when Les wanted him to play safety and he committed to Florida.

Terrace Marshall- Jimbo pulled out every stop he had but Ed got him to lsu

Joe Brady and Steve Ensminger- no one was giving these guys a OC job. Ed did.

Klavon Chaisson was basically locked in at Texas and Ed wouldn’t let him go. Leading to the infamous recruiting trip where O was at his house at 5am and followed Klavon right up to the gate at the airport gate when Chaisson was leaving for Florida. He literally did a 20 min recruiting trip with him while walking through an airport.

Jacob Phillips was committed too and locked in at OU. When Dylan Moses and Chris Allen spurned us- Ed got Jacob to flip a few days before signing day.

Patrick Queen, Klavon Chaisson, Derek Stingley, Jacoby Stevens, Fehoko, Grant Delpit, Damien Lewis and Cade York all signed up under O.

He clearly screwed the pooch and crashed fhe Ferrari into a brick wall- but he gets 100% credit for 2019. As he should

It was both. Brady updated the offensive scheme, Burrow executed it perfectly.

On is having success in the NFL. The other has never had success without Burrow.

It’s funny that you say that with the fact that Saban, Jimbo, Herman, Frost and Brian Kelly all passed on Joe.

One P5 coach didn’t.

And because of that “less deserving” person you got to watch your team field the greatest squad in NCAAF history, you should be more grateful.
