Oh, they mainly did.

The coaching & substitutions were just not good.

Burrow without Brady is a 5th rd pick

Yet here we are

Sober up.
Last night we saw a fourth round pick. Burrow had way more going for him than Book did.

Brady did a great job at LSU. The job SE and O hired him to do; put in a cutting edge passing attack. It’s not like he came in by accident.

And he wasn’t the QB coach. He coached the WRs not the QBs.

Burrow had things you can’t teach. Things Tom Brady has. He sees things quickly and processes the info quickly and executes depending on what he sees. The more he sees, the more he plays, the better he gets.

Also we had all the same players the year before

No we didn't.
uh, we did. I believe we had every single one from 2018 on the 2019 team.

Burrow is generational, but was wasted under E's 2018 offense.

It took Brady to unlock all that talent.

College players develop and mature in one year time and get stronger, smarter and faster. To say the same players and not acknowledge better is short sighted.

Of course, Brady helped improve the team, but that team was way more than Brady and even Burrow.

CEH improved, defense improved and Wr's improved. The OL was one of the best in football that season.

The driving force was larger than two individuals and credit to many.

2019 season was something to be proud of as LSU fan's, decisive wins, classy team other than OBJ handing out cash

So you credit O for getting the players here and hiring the coaches that developed them and won wi to them but you don’t think that gives O full credit?

Huh? I'm giving O credit for things that he did that helped lead to the 2019 season. Nothing more, nothing less. I'll give him credit for getting Burrow here. I'm not really giving him credit for how the defense performed down the stretch. I don't know what is so confusing about that

They also hired Linehan because they had zero faith in Ensminger

What an idiot! Count on Lester for a stupid take. He rarely disappoints.

Ensminger was trying to retire for a couple of years. He was a great coach and a great Tiger!

Well, you’re wrong. Moss, for one, missed the season with an injury. And most of the others were not good enough to start. That might be because they did not know the offense, or maybe they needed a year in the weight room, but they were not good enough to play.

If you're asking everyone, I think it's the fact that we had stars at every position. On offense and defense, and possibly best field goal kicker in college football. Plus we had Dave Aranda and Brady as coordinators. It was clearly a team effort, just look how well everyone played. Running back ,line backers, D End, Kicker, punter, O-Line of the year etc. That's why ESPN considers it the best college football TEAM EVER. The End
