Props to Coach O for being willing to clean house and work with Woodward

Not his biggest fan but can't say the same would be happening if it were 2015. Lot of changes being made. I know O he doesn't really have much of a choice, but Miles was a lot more stubborn and not open to change. Success starts with good decisions like these that have been made over the last 24 hours.

What other choice did he have...lol

Can lead to success or even worse, gotta make the right hires.

Yeah. Credit where credit is due. He sees a problem and he goes out and fixes it without playing around. That's the good news.
Now he needs to go out and nail these hires to get LSU back on top. The firing part was easy, him hiring the correct guys is the part he needs to show he can do consistently.

He didn't but you can't tell me Miles would let half his team staff go and make himself look bad. He was way too arrogant for that.

Props to spending other people’s money to correct his bad decisions?

Yea props to O for firing his hires and failures after one year.

I don't think he was lying. I think just hasn't been able to follow through with what he promised. He probably believes he's hired the very best coordinators.

True, but you must then concede that his decisions produced the greatest season/team in the history of college football.

That's very true. The statement itself is very subjective

lolololol, you're so funny, haha.
Read his friggin post. He spells it out for funny guys like you. He wrote that in 2015 (he's alluding to Les Miles for those too busy laughing) these changes would not have been made. In other words, Miles would have CHOSEN not to make these changes. THAT's the other CHOICE he had.

With the exception of Brady, all of O’s coordinator hires have been poor, and 2020 is confirmation of that.
Forgive me if I don’t have much confidence in O’s next batch of hires.

No, he preferred to keep his staff intact and let them make him look bad with an antiquated offense that ultimately cost him his job and probably a few shots at a national title.

Won a NC with greatest CFB Team in history.

He has to hire another defensive coordinator 1 year after hiring one.
He was also forced to end the Ensminger gimmick (call Ensminger the offensive coordinator, but hire another guy to ... actually design the offense and call the most critical plays).
So, 1 year removed from a national title, he's having to revamp the defense TWICE, and and overhaul the offense to get rid of nepotism- that's what the Ensminger situation was. He was retaining and paying a guy who was his buddy, who was not even attempting to do the job description.
This sounds like 2021 is a big year for O to show he can keep LSU relevant. Probably 8 win minimum for retention, or he's gone. Probably 10 win minimum to get any sort of bonus or consideration for a rolling extension (vote of confidence).
In other words, O's back to practically being an interim, having a season to audition for the job. He gets a chance to keep it, but I suspect there's already a list of replacements being made.

Not sure if you’re kidding or if you have no historical knowledge of LSU football. Go ask Les Miles and Gerry Dinardo if there were other choices.
Give O blame when it’s due, but be intellectually honest and give him credit too.
