If you seriously think a jersey color affects a win or a loss in a college football game, you have common sense issues.

Exhibit 1. Painted pink visitor locker room.

White unis are home unis. Colors for the road signifying the invader by color. Let's geaux.

Read you imbecile…. I said GAMES not seasons. I’ve always felt the purple were bad luck in GAMES. Where did I state we had a losing season based on this? We could go 10-2 and still have worn them 3 times in that season. I said GAMES.

your game scenario is debunked by those seasons.

if it was so bad those seasons woulda been shite since we had to wear purple in ALL HOME GAMES

Cannot tell you how many games I witnessed, in person, or on TV, where we lost w/ purple.

My parents had season tickets during the Hallman era and we went to every home game and my mom made us stay till the end of every game.

We were also in the stadium to witness the Dinardo era and watched the "Magic" come back against Auburn when Twillie intercepted that pass directly in front of us. That was the first game wearing the whites at home since 1982.

When I speak of the Purple curse, I speak with intimate knowledge

Every great achievement in LSU Football happened while wearing the white jerseys. Every single one.

In a related note, Ole Miss announced they’re going with blue-blue-white (“powder blues”) uniform for tomorrow’s game, so we should be in our classic gold-white-gold combo.

I grew up in Zachary and went to Zacchary High in the mid-late 90's. At that time our colors were a powder/baby blue and a red the color of bright lipstick.

Our football team ran onto the field wearing powder blue helmets with facemasks the color of a prostitute's lipstick.

We were called the "Smurf Squad" by all of opponents. And our program was not good at all. In it's best years it could be considered Mediocre. a history on par with ULM.

My dad told the Principal Mr. Partin, "Joe, y'all will never win anything until you get rid of those colors. You can't be taken seriously looking like that."

Few years down the line and Zachary changes their uniforms to colors similar to the Buccaneers scheme. After they do that, suddenly they start winning State Championships.

So yes, uniform colors can affect a team's success. I've seen it happen.

every time LSU has worn that combo they've gotten their arses handed to them

You left out last year's embarrassing loss to Vandy. We had the all-white look for that game too.

The Dallas Cowboys have known this for about 60 years. Like LSU they wear light color jerseys at home, and are convinced the dark blue jerseys are cursed.

As I stated previously, both teams started this because they play in two of the hottest places on earth.
