That seems a bit dramatic.

His next and hopefully final hearing is apparently scheduled for September 12-13 if I remember correctly so hopefully we’ll get him back soon after that.

I don't put alot of stock in the 1st scrimmage of fall camp.I will stand by my post, and be glad to revisit it during the season.

Brennan will get plenty of playing time this year.
Quit worrying

That’s 3 sacks per 60 plays. I’ll let you take a guess where that lands in the conference.

You're just ignoring the fact that "sacks" in a scrimmage are one hand touch. It's impossible to judge the legitimacy of that stat without actually seeing the plays.

What’s our ideal starting offensive line and who are the backups? Who are the best 5 we have and want at each position. I know o-Line is what’s gonna make or break our year

I just hope 1) Cush stays healthy and 2) we find a strong backup!

All of your scrimmage "stats" are just made up bogus numbers anyway. Les Miles was notorious for the total BS he'd put out -- like ridiculous stuff where the numbers didn't even add up.

I can well believe that our OL will be the weakest position group on the team this year, but it's just dumb to make any kind of assessment from some PR numbers that were dumped out there by Coach O.

Is LSU running a RPO offense or not? If so, the defense shouldn’t even be getting close to the QB.

Have you watched RPO offenses? Alabama installed one last year and gave up 16 sacks in 15 games

Which is it?

Is this better or worse than the people who believe John Brady is “running” the LSU offense?

I'm just going to bookmark this thread for later in the season. When all you same posters are complaining about the offensive line, just like last year.

I know what I won't be getting if the offensive line hasn't improved. I won't be getting to watch LSU compete for championships.

Too bad this isn’t EA Sports football games. The offense gave up 5 sacks while the defense was missing the sack leader from last year and the (supposed) best pass rusher.

You have no idea who gave up those 5 sacks, without context generic stats from a scrimmage are meaningless to draw conclusions from.

A scrimmage isn't only the starters going at it, just about everyone plays. I'm just as skeptical as anyone for guys like deculus being "improved" but you seem to be going a bit overboard on something you dont even know the context on at all.

Is it 2018 or 2019? I remember these same exact responses when questions about the line in 2018 were asked.

Eventually, you people will pull your heads out of the sand and realize that fall camp actually does matter.

well considering It wasn’t the starting rotation in scrimmage one. I’m not gonna freak out like you.

Stop trying to put yourself up as the high and mighty here all alone, plenty of people are skeptical of the OL including myself going into this year and were last year. I've said multiple times I dont believe Deculus is a RT in this conference. I think LG remains a weird question mark with Magee leading the way there.

The bottom line is you are drawing a conclusion based on information with no context. Would you still feel exactly the same if the first team OL gave up 1 of those sacks, the 2nd team 2 sacks and 3rd team/walk ons gave up 2 sacks?

People overreact to scrimmage stats way too much without even asking context behind it. We hear Brennan goes 8/13 for 160 yards and a TD but people say he struggled a bit, because we dont know who threw the 2 INTs to Stingley (maybe both were him).

Point is, you cant take some generic stat from a scrimmage and make vast assumptions.

Yeah you'll just freak out in week 1 or 2 with everyone else because you ignore whats being put in front of you.

That's so much better.

Point is, I'm taking the stats from a scrimmage and seeing the same things we saw last year. An offensive line that's going to struggle to protect the quarterback.

That's all the context that I really need.

It's been 1 scrimmage, and agian you have ZERO clue who even gave up 5 sacks. context actually matters even if you can't admit that. Again, if it was 1 from 1st team and 4 from 2nd/3rd team, who really cares? Without knowing the CONTEXT behind it, there's no reason to flip out.

shite, we dont even know how many pass plays they even called. It could have been 30, 50, 70.
