Magee has been the starter so far through camp. With Hines and others rotating in. FREE ED INGRAM!

No he just said he doesn't know who will start. It's Hines vs Magee and I think Magee has taken more reps with the 1st team. Keep in mind that Hines had surgery and that might be part of it.

Hines has missed some practice, had offseason surgery/knee issue. O said he'll be a go when season starts.

Kardell Thomas is dealing with some type of nagging injury as well

Additionally, Hines has been cross-training at center as well. So that could also be limiting his reps at LG.

I think Kardell is in that mix but probably behind them.

I think it’s more than just the LG. LSU’s offensive line seems to be the biggest question mark, and nothing indicates it will be better than last year.

I wonder what would happen if you put Deculus at guard and left Anthony Bradford at right tackle

Coach has said several times that they’re the most improved group

Really? Almost everyone is back. If nothing else, these guys have 12 months more experience at their positions and playing together in tough atmospheres.

Too bad this isn’t EA Sports football games. The offense gave up 5 sacks while the defense was missing the sack leader from last year and the (supposed) best pass rusher.

This is all while running (again a supposed) RPO offense that is entirely built on getting the ball out quickly.

And 1 hand touch = sack

Let's see what happens with Burrow back

Is LSU running a RPO offense or not? If so, the defense shouldn’t even be getting close to the QB.

Am I? Hopefully LSU doesn’t finish last in the conference in sacks allowed like they did in 2018.

Early indications are not too good.

Ever? No QB running an RPO scheme ever gets sacked? Come on lol.

And again, no Burrow yesterday, who has taken the first team snaps in this offense to date. I'm guessing things run a little more smoothly (and quickly) with JB in there at QB.

Have you watched RPO offenses? Alabama installed one last year and gave up 16 sacks in 15 games. LSU is giving up 5 sacks in a scrimmage against the defense while they’re missing delpit and Chaisson?

Either Brennon is completely lost, the defense is the best ever (without their best players) or the offensive line is still missing assignments.

If that doesn’t scream improvement, I don’t know what does.
