He provided zero context. Says it’s not about the number and then gives no other viewpoint.

Then what is it about RC? What a blowhard this guy is. I wish RC would go away. He is another embarrassment to LSU.

That its somehow a “respect” issue because LSU issued a freshman all-american the jersey number he was promised during his original recruitment without clearing it first with a 2 year transfer portal mercenary who’s 2.5 years removed from LSU

Since this whole situation has come up, I have felt that it wasn't about them
giving a Pickett number 5, it's just that he wanted to be in on the passing of the number to an outstanding player like Pickett. Kind of like we do with number 8 in baseball, where the current number 8 passes it on to the next player to wear it.

He needs to define respect. What tangible behaviors fall into “respect?” If LSU needs to “respect” JD, and they have engaged in some behaviors that are not respectful, what are those behaviors?
Quit speaking in obtuse terms RC so that way you can twist it into something else at a later date.

If it isn’t about the number, then what started it? His statement is absurd.

Because he wants to play both sides because he knows this is a unique situation.

Race should not come into this discussion at all, but I’m sure it will.

He didn't actually SAY anything.

It's not about the number 5, but it's about the number 5, and it's not about LSU disrespecting him, but it's about him wanting LSU to recognize and respect him.

Okey Dokey!

Cowards say things online they wouldn't have to heart to say in person.
