Let me clarify. I am talking regular season only.
I am sticking with 7

If seven is the number on the table, I'm betting the over.
A team can lose double-digit SEC games and still win the regular-season title. I would be ecstatic to see this team go 20-10 in the SEC. Heck, except for the truly delusional in Knoxville and College Station, every fanbase in the SEC would be happy with 20-10.

As I said in another post, if Jay doesn’t get to 60 wins with this roster, seat should be a little warm
You can say it in as many posts as you want, it's still a dumb statement.

Nobody is finishing this sec schedule with less than 9 losses.

Someone once said, "no matter how good you are, you'll lose a third of your games, and no matter how bad you are, you'll win a third of your games. It's what you do with the other third that matters."
This was a reference to MLB though. I do not see LSU losing a third of their games, but it'll be more than single digit losses IMO. That's just the way it is. You'll lose a few along the way that you never should have lost.
My prediction is 12-15 games lost. And a national championship!

Just keep scoring 12+ runs a game and we should be okay.

12 to 15
20-10 in the SEC is ELITE. There will be losses, just need them to be early on and when post season rolls on, they are playing their best

Bold. Would be an all time LSU best of 23-7 at worst in SEC play. I don’t think our starting pitching is good enough for 23 SEC wins…it’s more in the 18-20 range which is outstanding and a top 8 seed nationally.

We can win any series on our SEC schedule, but sweeps are not going to come easily, particularly if the pitching takes a while to tighten up

20-10 would be tremendous. Sprinkle in some midweek losses and 13 sounds about right
Something like 7 conference losses will never be realistic again with an SEC this loaded, particularly in a sport that inherently produces tight standings

I'm thinking 13-14 losses overall. 10-11 in conference. Anything over that is rarified air these days.

Oh so you're doubling down on being retarded?
Posted on 2/23/26 at 10:23 am to Glizzy_gang
I will go with 12 losses during regular season.
