Cllemson gets caught with its LB’s having to cover wideouts out of backfield, Sam can find one of them open on mismatch post or wheel…or he takes off for a gain of over 10 yards. It may not be this very play or formation , but Lane is not about to let his first play be a TB wham. He’s immediately going to set his mark.

After the kickoff, a play with pre snap motion. Just like the good old days when CLM tried to convince us the offense was going to be different and had his OC use motion on the very first play of the game.
