Portland HS football player tackles player carrying American flag

A video circulating out of Portland, Oregon shows a high school football player sprinting across the field and knocking down the kid carrying the American flag.
Friday night, Oct. 16. Grant High School at Jefferson High School, both Portland Public Schools. Grant ran out behind the flag. A Jefferson player in gold came in from the side, hit the flag carrier, and the flag went down. On camera, no adult steps in.
No news yet on punishment of the player. Should be banned or life and jailed for assault.

Let’s not sensationalize this. Yes he should have been penalized, but you can’t tell me from that 15 second video you believe it was an attack on the American flag.
And banned for life and jailed? Get out of here. And I’m the biggest supporter of the flag.
It looks like two teams that are probably rivals with beef against each other having a pregame scuffle when one runs out the tunnel.
