Never in my life have I heard it being ideal to rotate at OL. You want them as a symbiotic unit. this means that they just do not feel like they know what the best unit is yet

Post your resume, specifically in regards to offensive line play and development

Throughout the course of the season question, would be evaluated based on a player separating himself. If no separation, continue to rotate.
Do you know of any teams with good offensive lines that do this?

I would do the same at WR.
Surely you understand the difference in continuity between the OL and receivers right?

What don't you get about this? This is not a criticism of BK or the coaching staff.

They returned every starter lol

Who was that guy last year? Year before?

The same media that said Maason Taylor was gonna tear things up on the DL a couple of years ago?

Then, I assume, you expect Mizzou, Illinois, and BC to be better than Clemson on D? Since they returned just as much production and were ranked higher at the end of last season...
Hell, what about Vandy? They return as many on D and they only gave up 5 more yards and 4 fewer TDs (total). Are they going to be elite, too?

You’ve seen mubenga and Chester with your own eyes, and those guys are in the rotation. If they are in competition with others, the others can’t be far ahead.
Right, because no college football player has ever gotten better from one season to another.

Only Clemson's defense (under a new DC) will improve, apparently.

Not as to you specifically but I find it hilarious when this board mocks the media for their bad takes as though some of the users on this board aren’t horrifically worse lol.

Sure, they have, but I’m unaware of any evidence to suggest either of these two have. All I’ve heard all fall camp is how we can’t run for shite, how Braelin Moore took the center position from Chester in about 2 practices and how these two are still trying to win a job out that they’ve had over a year to win. I have a little optimism about Chester being better at guard, but these two were hideously bad last season and there’s a difference between improvement from very bad and becoming an outright good player.

Not sure how you can spin this as a positive either
It's great when you can rotate 6 to 8 on the line ... the defensive line.

this is concerning
Indeed. College doesn't have a preseason.

shite, man, you should probably find something else to do on saturdays this fall, then.

Reading comprehension on here is pathetic. Anyone know what the word COULD means.LOL.

This guy thinks all center has to do is block

Idiocracy has arrived to the Rant a few hundred years early.

And here I thought cohesion was an important trait for an offensive line. Rotating 8 guys is like playing two qbs.

That group played together for three years, so not quite the same thing.
In 2022, Turner and Jones absolutely emerged. Wire wasn’t going to cut it and we needed Dellinger to shift to Guard. Martinez never could beat Turner for the job, even though he was bigger and more physical.
Those two were key to us having a serviceable OL out of what could have been a disaster. We had NOTHING behind them. There were only 3 SEC-level players on the roster before recruiting and the portal and Martinez was just passable.
As for last year, I think it can be argued that Adams, Bordelon and Echols stepped up nicely during the Bowl Game after very few snaps during the season and Adams coming off an injury.

Well that sounds incredibly fricking stupid and it’s depressing we feel this is necessary
Posted on 8/25/25 at 5:22 pm to Shaggy01
Haha we better have up to 8 players that can play on the OL dipshit. If not we’re not sniffing the playoffs.
