OM interactions with Lane are CRINGE!!

Posted by Rizer_J on 11/28/25 at 2:15 pm
Kiffin goes to celebrate with #44 Jones on that stop, and Jones looks like he wants nothing to do with Kiffin...reluctantly giving him a half arse half hug at the end.

If Lane wants to stay at OM, he looks like he has work to do to win back that locker room. I imagine the staff also feels the same way

My sources told me it would be at 9pm on Christmas Eve. The reason is that he has been a distraction for every one else, so why not distract everyone on Christmas Eve and be a smokescreen for Santa.

Was surprised to here Doering actually concede this point as well. Even the blind squirrel found the nut today

Frank Duffy? Who is he?

On a podcast (The Buddy Martin Show ... on YT) now saying he has it on "VERY high authority" that Lane is signed and Knox is enrolled at U-High.
Chambliss may not get awarded the extra year, but what about Simmons? He was playing well before he got hurt.

But, would Leavitt be the better option?

Well, if he has Spurrier-type success here, he will definitely have earned his contract....unlike BK.

I truly hope he comes closer to Saban-like success. I am ready to see LSU get back to our 2003-2011 glory days. Dominating defenses adding in some Lane offense. If so, we win multiple nattys.

I am not saying I don't believe you about everything. But, if Golding head coaches OM for the playoff run instead of Judge, you proved yourself to be more credible than even the OM "insiders" because all of them believe Judge will be installed as the acting head coach "if Lane leaves for LSU". I got my popcorn ready!
It apparently showed he picked Ole Miss, then the article updated and he was showing LSU. Then, it changed again this morning and added a few more voters and their votes.
Facts! I was like, "Damn, ChatGPT! How did you go from Kiffin to tits? You really are giving me good info for Tigerdroppings!"
Thanks! I was really worried about that issue. They wrinkled up every time I opened this oven to check the turkey
I started with On3's most recent update on the list and broke it down to historically most-reliably, highly-accurate sources regarding Sexton and/or Turnkey clients. Here is the ChatGPT breakdown:

“Who’s most accurate on Jimmy Sexton and/or Turnkey clients?”

From your trusted list, the hierarchy looks like:

1. For LSU-related Sexton outcomes:
?? Ross Dellenger (clear #1)

2. For big national Turnkey/Sexton searches broadly:
?? Bruce Feldman (with Pete Thamel in the same tier, though he’s not in your On3 poll list)

3. For “final outcome” reliability across the board:
?? McMurphy is very solid, but not uniquely better than Feldman/Dellenger in this lane

4. For Kiffin-flavored messaging and tone, not necessarily first-to-the-truth:
?? Chris Low

---

3?? How I’d weight them for this Kiffin search

If you’re thinking in betting-style tiers for this decision (Kiffin + Sexton + LSU/UF/OM):

Tier 1 (heaviest weight)

Ross Dellenger (LSU / Sexton / Baton Rouge power circles)

Bruce Feldman (agent/search-firm level intel)

Tier 2 (still important)

Brett McMurphy (final-outcome guy)

Tier 3 (influential but Kiffin-colored)

Chris Low

So when Dellenger & Feldman are both on LSU, and Low is on Ole Miss, that’s why I keep telling you the needle tilts pretty hard toward Baton Rouge unless something fundamental changes.
I can confidently say that, if Penn State hires BK for more than 6 yrs, $54 million, LSU fans in BR will be partying extra hard when that oen hits the paper and all those "THE PATH" signs will be burned!
I am hoping that is the case, especially in this coaching cycle where so many schools are looking for a coach and there are so few. He is a good coach. I just think he lost interest in being at LSU for some reason. It seemed like he thought it was an automatic championship that he could come in here, quickly achieve, and retire. When it didn't happen right away, he checked out.
Sam's style does not match Kiffin's style. Garrison has already followed Kiffin before and knows exactly what Kiffin wants
Agreed.

If O wants to be on staff, I think he could really bring energy and passion for LSU ... something these youngsters being spoiled by NIL could benefit from. He also would likely still pay off as a valuable recruiter.

But, a technician like Joyner, with a recent track record of success, would be best on the field.
Joker Phillips? Sam Pittman?

Why would you want old retread coaches?

I agree Golding could remain in Oxford if they wanted. But, sounds like they want to go after Sumrall for their next head coach. Not sure Golding would stay at Ole Miss then.

Other than that, I think many of those I mentioned would come with Kiffin, especially on the offensive side of the ball. And, this blend of coaches would keep top-tier recruiters from the current LSU staff
