Thank you. I don’t understand why everyone wants the Ags as a permanent opponent. It’s not a fun away game and when they come to visit they bring a bunch of weirdos to campus. Not to mention the A&M game always kinda sucks it’s like playing Arkansas. I want Bama, Ole Miss and either UF/AU

I don’t get everyone wanting to drop bama as a yearl opponent. Is that not always the biggest game o. The schedule? Why would a fan of sports openly advocate for getting rid of their biggest games? Otherwise what’s the point?

If I had to venture a guess it would be because LSU has gone 4-12 against them over the past 16 meetings. Or maybe because LSU is 27-55-5 against them all time. Throw in the fact that Saban is never going to retire and bama will be the cool thing to do for recruits for the foreseeable future, I can understand where they're coming from.

Bottom line for me is this, would it give LSU a better chance to win a national championship if they didn't have to play bama every year? Yes.

I thought with the 3-6-6 model you would play a home and away in consecutive years with the first six and rotate on the third year to the other six.

They wouldn't give Auburn UGA, Bama and LSU every year. That'd be insane.

I hope LSU gets Ole Miss, Miss State, and either Aggy or Arky.

Some of these annual "rivalries" (Tennessee - Alabama, Georgia - Auburn, Florida - Georgia, etc.) are going to have to go. It's as simple as that.

Most anticipated game of year, that’s why. You want Vanderbilt?

Florida and Auburn games have really been good matchups for LSU. Very good games.

Wishful thinking I know, but I hope there is some consideration of teams having equitable schedules. That is, no one should have Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Kentucky as their permanents.

Alabama (that game gets such great ratings, no way the networks will give it up)
Texas A&M
Ole Miss

So that means Alabama is going to get us, Auburn and Tennessee. I expect an extremely successful short angry old man will rain hell on the SEC offices.

I thought I heard it was a "no" to the pods. I like them myself.

I wonder if they do pods do TX and A&M go together. Maybe the old SWC pod of TX, A&M, OU, and Ark...

but then again I think the selling point of this larger SEC is better match-ups, so I can see the appeal of non-geographic pods.
