They did nothing of this when Alabama played the three-year G league guy for five games last year.
Sure, he was eventually deemed ineligible, but nothing happened against Alabama when it was over

Pretty obvious it's what he is not reporting.

Per Dellenger: The SEC vs. LSU battle is escalating further
How is it an LSU battle? LSU is not involved with the court case at all. Dellenger is desperate for clicks, it appears.

Note the responses. They don't care about the fact that he is simply reporting LSU-related news.

he is actually pretty stupid in real life if you have ever met him. Now he is either deliberately trying to promote absolute bs, or he is that stupid that he believes these third party stories. LSU has not done ANYTHING illegal what so ever. What's more, there are other schools looking to take players as well. I mean, you have a 6th year player up in Oxford, because a Judge, who is an alumni and season ticket holder of OM decided the kid should play, after the NCAA and SEC turned him down. You don't hear a peep about that from Dellinger. What a loser he is.

Because it is a lie. However, I would expect a complete left of left loser to fall for it.

From what I've seen so far, LSU per se hasn't been singled out. However, if a favorable court ruling for the players occurs Thursday AND the SEC starts mentioning LSU specifically by name, I would at that point consider your approach if I was LSU. Since the best defense is a good offense, I would file suit against the SEC and specifically name Sankey as one of the defendants. The suit would charge the Southeastern Conference and Sankey with defaming the university via slander and libel and sue the frick out of them. Might want to throw in a tad of attempted blackmail and extortion also. Oh, and since they like to throw 50% of a university's revenue in that sport as a penalty, I would sue for something like 50% of THEIR net revenue.

You again...yesterday you were saying LSU could get retroactive penalties....which was asinine and you were told so by everyone. Now you are doubling down your ignorance by falling in line with Delly who obviously has been duped, or has turned into a clickbait journalist.
Bottom line, how has LSU done anything illegal? Please spell it out for those of us not as smart as you.

I mean, what he's saying here is illegal by itself. That's telling you it's exclusively LSU they're looking at which means they're selectively looking to enforce rules on LSU. If what he says is true (and it's probably not) that just proves collusion. They'd get sued hard by LSU to push that type of enforcement to make them an example especially trying to go over the heads of the courts. They already backpedaled for an emotional reaction to LSU jumping into other schools showing them up. This would just further make an easy case for LSU. The SEC would lose this case for sure. Sankey's probably going to get fired because he opened them up to lawsuits.

If they had gone to (poor little) Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas, UGA, we wouldn’t even hear a peep.

Good luck having Virginia Tech replace LSU

I actually thinks it's good we're having these fights now and not after the SEC breaks off and does it's own thing.

This is just a desperate Delly trying to get clicks. Damn he has fallen off the rails. I bet you that he is a left nut job.

The bottom line here is that Sankey and certain SEC schools are butthurt that LSU and some other SEC schools didn't bend the knee and are following the law of the land (as they should) and there is nothing that they can legally do about it right now since the courts have ruled in favor of the players at the moment.
These threats are totally unnecessary since we'll have a more definitive court ruling by Thursday which LSU said they will follow either way. This weak threat is just meant to make the SEC seem like they have some power when the truth is that they got put in their place by the courts. This is why the SEC bent the knee. They know they are at the mercy of the courts and have no case against LSU or any school unless the courts reverse their current ruling and schools still don't comply.
