I actually think you are a grossly ignorant prick with no curiosity. The coaching styles of Aranda and Pelini are so extremely different that most of us were curious as to how LSU’s young players would react to such a drastic change. Guess we are seeing now.

I have not been happy with the defense, and I do not know if Pelini is the answer; however I am tired of hearing that he is chewing players out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a coach yelling at his players. Our entire culture has become too feminized. When I played ball, my coaches yelled at me; if anything, it made me play much harder. Does Saban yell at his players? You are damn right he does. Perhaps our defenders should play with as much intensity as Pelini has; it wouldn't hurt.

First, you don’t know what was being said.

Second, so what? Somebody needs to light a fire under their arse. This is not brain surgery and if they can’t grasp the concept of coverage then wtf are they here for?

At some point players need to get it together or sit.

We can argue dog cussing vs no dog cussing all night and day. The focus should be on defensive results. And this has been an atrocious defense against inferior teams. We typically are rated in the top 7 in recruiting yearly and Mizzo, Arkansas, and State don’t stiff the top 10.

You've never been within earshot of a football team and coaches, have you?

If I had to coach those lackadaisical assholes I’d be furious too.

I must be the only person to see Nick go ballistic on a player on the sideline!

The question is whether the players aren't trying or aren't understanding. My guess is, given the number of younger players, they aren't understanding. In that case, the coach needs to make sure they understand.

With family playing in baseball and football, this old geezer’s been watching it a hell of a lot longer than your dumb arse.

The way Pelini was acting on the sideline when the camera was on him (which I have zero issue with) is what worries me about bringing him back next season. I don't think it's solely a Pelini issue, but I can totally see Ed saying "it was the players, not Bo." Bo's actions clearly state that he feels the players aren't doing their job, which very well may be the case.

What amazes me even more is how the players applaud mistakes and high five each other after they make dumb plays or penalties.
This is definitely a different generation.

They will come around, Pelini needs time, he will get his type of kids in here and we will kick butt.
But, this attitude will change. It has nothing to do with a scheme, and everything to do with attitude.

Remember it well. He grabbed a young cornerback by the face mask, pulled him up close, face to face, and chewed him out for screwing up a play.
The next play the young corner back made the correct play. Saban grabbed him and gave him congratulations.

This stuff always comes down to recruiting. Remember that a lot of these players are not Pelini’s guys.

If recruiting starts to fall off on the defensive side of the ball then we’ll know the reason. Pelini’s exit papers will be in the works.

If, however, we see no falloff or even an uptick then we know that the issue isn’t out of hand.

If players don’t like Pelini then you can be certain that they’ll let it be known and future recruits will know either directly or through the grapevine.
