ATM isn’t beating Texas yall can stop dreaming

Why are people saying this? Sure Texas would be the favorite but it's far from a sure thing they beat A&M

Texas is not some unbeatable team

LSU was clearly the better team against aTm. They just did not play like it in the second half.

Conference championship games need to be done away with now that there’s a 12 team playoff. We’ve all seen enough by the end of the regular season to determine who should be in, and a team should never be punished for making a CCG and losing, only to be jumped by a team that didn’t even play in one.

i think we've established that its all about money now, so the conference championships arent gpoing anywhere.

I want AM to lose USCe and Texas, and LSU to win out.

LSU doesn't have to play in SEC Championship game, but still likely makes playoff

LSU is winning out and I’d love a second shot at A&M in a dome. We would dice them up. Aggies probably lose to USC this weekend though because they don’t know how to handle success.

Have you seen Bama play?

Have you seen A&M play prior to the LSU game? Doesn't matter, Kelly chokes at least one game away every year.

Why did you need Finebaum to confirm this? Most of us that read the tiebreaker rules already knew this.

run over by Bama

That's not a Saban-coached Bama team, but they're talented and they're still Bama. They'll be maybe a 4-5 point favorite next week

A&M will be a slight favorite against Texas in College Station.

I lost a sense of awe for UT following their close call with Vandy. Most people felt that game would have been a blowout. Texas isn't a bashi-bazouk this year

Truly regretfully.

A&M will be out of gas when they travel to Columbia. South Carolina wins this one.

Both A&M will lose at least one more SEC game so it’s all moot. Georgia and Texas will play again in SECCG.

Not according to this. A&M gets no head to head tie breaker in a 3-4 team tie. Calculator

I think we'd beat the fricking brakes off of A&M in a rematch.

Wut? They kicked our arse up and down the field.

So, we'd have to hope this is how it plays out, because if Texas beats AM, then it's Texas and UGA since AM beat LSU.
Are you sure about that?

I believe there would be four 7-1 teams then, so no head to head tiebreaker and LSU would have the highest conference opponent win percentage if that happened unless Auburn beats Vandy, and then aTm would be one and LSU two I think
