I would like a lane kiffin hire I just don’t see him taking Ed’s job as close as they are.

That being said Lane is one cut throat motherfricker so it’s possible but we’d have to back a brinks truck up to his house.

Ed sure as frick didn't mind stepping into his spot at USC & campaign for the job doing the "opposite" of what Kiffin did.

First page. Tl Dr. Ed O lost the team and support from Admin. He is more than likely to be fired as the fall guy for all the title IX infractions the team is in a free fall with no leadership to stop it

I think Lane Kiffin is the move. You damage Ole Miss, and he has nowhere to go from here

Y’all are on one tonight. Why would Kiffin go from rebuilding at Ole Miss and then a year later come inherit our dumpster fire to also have to try and rebuild? Arguably LSU is the harder repair job.

LSU is never a more difficult repair job as Ole Miss.

He did not come to LSU to just be the AD. He came here with an understanding that he would be the next LSU System President.

Eta: oh I see. Woodward. Now I’m the idiot. Totally missed the AD part. Damn. That is some Louisiana slick polticing.

O literally quit coaching to pout (and plot) for a year because USC wouldn’t give him Lane’s old job, they aren’t that close

I just can’t believe anybody with a straight face could agree to this with Ed Orgeron. He isn’t nick saban good. We wanted him so bad we made him believe he could be president or a multi campus state flag ship university?

What?
Please tell me you are joking

Exactly approach with a negotiated buyout reduction. Tell him you get a few million. Take it or we fire you for cause and you can take us to court and maybe end up with nothing. Cut losses now while there’s still good coaches out there.

Even better, you don’t fire O and pay him the buyout.

You just demote him to Asst. DLine coach on his buddy Lane’s staff to humiliate him

LSU also has the name recognition and a recruiting base that very few schools can match. No matter how bad things get they are only 1-2 years from being right back in it.

UMMMM he related to today's youth just fine until this summer!!
If some a$# hole football players can't practice some forgiveness, because he didn't back their every wish then forget them.

I am still hearing O maybe blamed for some of the Title IX issues.

If this is true, and can be proven, O needs to be shown the fricking door ASAP. His buyout would be null and void if those kind of violations occurred under his watch. There is literally no reason on God’s green earth I can think of as to why we would keep his arse around if he covered that shite up. We are not fricking Baylor. That shite can not fly here.
