i guess ole c temple didn't witness hallman, dinardo, and brady.
Wow - crap load of fail you have there - you have a point with Curley the Clown - he never won anything, anywhere (except @ So Miss w/ Brett Favre doing all of the thinking, work, etc.) - however, Dinardo was "allowed to resign" after his second below .500 (overall and SEC) season - - Brady was a BB coach which was Mr. Temple's point - BB coaches aren't held to the same standard the football coaches are (with Curley being the notable exception).

temple runs a bunch of boy's houses, half-way houses etc. and is regularly in the newspaper for various violations, etc. i don't know if he is a peice of shite, i like both his sons, but he is at least a slumlord. not to mention his shenanigans with brec, what was that about again?

Some of his homes mysteriously burn down.
finger air quotes "I sure hope they were insured, Mr. Temple." /end finger air quotes
Ironic how the ones that burned down had some of the biggest problem.
Oh, and re: BREC? Dude doesn't have time to attend meetings. He just doesn't think he's unimportant enough to be removed from them for failing to attend even 10% of them since he was appointed.
Dude's a member of the upright citizen's brigade.

Ask anyone that has had business dealings with TEMPLE and I think you would find their opinion on the matter is that He finds himself of a much higher esteem than the rest of the population. He has a problem with conforming to the rules within a society at times.

Its not doing us any good to have a guy like Temple publicly degrading our coach. While I agree with his comments, its not helping the situation.
Apparently it didn't do LSU any good when TJ turned his back on Temple when he landed in BR. Don't burn bridges before you cross.

I'm just finally glad that someones stepped up the pressure on TJ

Is Temple really that much value to us nowadays?

Temple is not the fing issue!!! The issue is when is some serious recruiting going to materialize and put a decent team on the court....with or without CT involved...does anyone care about LSU, or just the petty bs on this board!!!

Agreed the issue is TJ and his lack of recruiting prowess and the lack of prowess on his staff. Going into his 4th recruiting class he has signed one SEC caliber player (O'Bryant would be the second and who knows how well the guy from Pickering will be). Has not signed a legit pg recruit as of yet and is 5 and 27 in the SEC in the last 2 years in a historically weak SEC west. Personally I think we are wasting a year in getting the program back on track.

My theory.
TJ is a good coach trying to do everything the right way, LA is just void of top talent right now so he has not been handed any freebies.
Temple would rather Johnny Jones (one of the "good ole boys" )be the head coach.

He's clearly not doing much the right way so far.

CT has done way more for LSU than any of you dicks. Could it be that he loves LSU basketball and can't stand to see it run in the ground by trent.
If you dicks had spent years trying to help someone build something you might understand that he is just pissed off. more with losing games but also with losing power.

He's former player, father of two former players, and a guy that runs around the Baton Rouge basketball scene. Why should that entitle him to any power in this program? I'm appreciative of how he has helped us with players in the past, but by no means does that make his ego larger than the program. If he truly cared about LSU basketball, he would suck up his pride, act like a mature adult, and shut his mouth to the media.

I'm suggesting that its not all about ego but more about losing games and the way the program has fell off so drastically. sometimes you can't just stand back and shut up. he has a right to say what he feels about a topic that is so dear to him. he is not entitled to anything but I bet plenty of people have limited input into the football, basketball programs.

Fair assessment. But I do feel that complaining to the media when you are in a position that the media will pay attention requires a different level of tact, in regards to your comments about the program.
