Decided to go to Nola the day of the game. Only spot we found to watch it ended up being the official OU bar/restaurant of New Orleans or at least it was where they staked out a spot that day. Kabby's or whatever in the Hilton. We might have been one of 2 or 3 groups of LSU fans there. It was a big restaurant and they had overflow Hilton meeting rooms playing the game.

We were not causing a scene at all. All we would do is cheer when something good happened. The OU fans tried to throw us out by calling the manager and then the cops on us. After pleading we werent doing anything wrong they let us stay.

After the game while standing up and highfiving/hugging our group a middle aged woman poured an entire pitcher of ice water down my back. I turn and she has tears rolling down her face. She screamed "your football team may be really good but your fans are ASSHOLES!" And then she ran away.

They were either soft as charmin or they had been through some shite that weekend. I tend to believe they're just all pussies.

Yeah but I guarantee you they were not treated the same way last year. And there was not that much animosity in 2019 in Atlanta.

I believe tires could have been slashed in New Orleans but it’s New Orleans doesn’t mean it was by LSU fans lmfao.

Also, I was there and OU were a bunch of arrogant fans heading into that game. They didn’t expect it to be close let alone LSU win. I highly doubt adults called a 13 year old a f*g. However, LSU does have bad eggs like everyone else so a 13 year old can remember 1 drunk bad example as an entire fanbase.

But again slashed tires in New Orleans? I believe it. Happened to us in 04. Didn’t park there again in ‘08 or ‘12

If this a true account of what this person experienced, then they have my genuine sympathy, but I reject the premise that it is even remotely indicative of the typical Tiger fan.

LSU fandom extends to many dipshits, to be sure, but the overwhelming majority are good folk, as is the case with most (if not all) fanbases.
