I disagree. I met & talked to numerous Beaver fans the last time they played here. Nice people & they were all highly complimentary of the Tigers & The Box. But they also said something I've heard from other sources : The Ducks' fans are the snobs of the West Coast. Universally despised by the rest of the Pac 12.

I think this is a good draw for this team, this young team needs to learn what it takes to win at the highest level. If they can shock LSU, what kind of confidence will it mean next year when we have a legit shot at Omaha. Pitching should be better in cajun country rather than the dry desert air. Pitchers will probably have much better bite on their ball with the higher humidity. Hopefully our batting stays hot down there.
That’s just crazy enough….to be crazy. Right or wrong I can’t get behind playing to possibly lose your first game. Btw, Herm Edwards agrees with me.

Ty Floyd is 7-0, he has been very good his last 3 outings and also shut down Arkansas earlier this year.

Same experience with their football fans. Really good people but they will let you know quick they fricking hate Oregon.

BEAV fan here. Y’all welcomed me with open arms last season when I’d just moved to Houston and gave me a ton of tips and tricks to Baton Rouge. So appreciated. I’m so pumped we get to play y’all, but I’m pissed because I have other $#!+ that I have to do that prevents me from coming. Sorry, I’m a family man and gotta do what I gotta do. Beavs laid a turd in the Pac-12 tournament. I love to talk smack but the way we’ve performed over the last week, if we don’t wake up, it’s 2 and bbq for us, even with Tulane in it. Hope to play y’all on day 2! Best of luck! Tons of respect for LSU!

We had lots of OSU folks tailgate with us including a husband and wife (both retired professors) team that were a hoot, I think they were in their 90s. I had two of my sons walk them to their seats.
Lot of good people that were happy to be there. And to the day I hate Oregon, just dont like em.

My wife’s a duck, I grew up in Eugene, but yeah, they have an elitist attitude. Several of my duck buddies say you’re just jealous we got Phil Knight. Uh, yeah, of course I am but you don’t have to be pricks wherever you go thinking you’re the best at everything. All fan bases have it and I get it, but them and usc…lot of holier than thou. If I made it to the game, I know my place. I’m in enemy territory. Will I cheer my arse off for my team, of course. Do I know I’ll get some flack? Of course. But know your place, be respectful, be kind, and Cher for your team. You win, kick arse. You lose, own it and move on.
