Besides 1/9,

2012 Bama
2005 Tennessee
2006 Auburn

Same for me. 2012 game was hard to watch.

2006 Auburn likely cost us a shot at NC.

Yeah. I really feel like we were the best team in the country that year and our head coach really let us down in that game.

The natty loss stung bad, but this win would have eased the pain and kept things balanced with bama. This one hurt, badly.

The only answer -

We lost a National Championship Game to Alabama - January 2012

This one game could have changed the trajectory of our program.

But we had an opportunity to change that trajectory. In 2012 we had them beat. All you do is get a 1st down and game over. Instead of running Hill, Miles got cute and took him out for an OBVIOUS wildcat play with Spencer Ware giving Bama one final shot. Our secondary was kinda sketchy that game anyway and I was scared because McCarron had a tendency to get hot late with the game on the line. Went right down the field and scored. And yes I was in the student section when Yeldon scored. Like a gut punch. I knew we lost. The team and the stadium were deflated. I also felt that we would not beat this team for a long time. Unfortunately that played out too until 2019 that is.

I would say losing this game made us beating them in the SECCG and knocking them out of the title game even sweeter.

How is the 2011 national championship game not on your list? It's the worst of my life. I was in a funk for months and Miles never recovered.

I know it's stupid because one was an actual championship game but this game hurt so much worse than 21-0 on 1/9/12

1961 @ Rice. LSU probably wins a Natty or at least splits it that season.

No, I was not alive for that one, I would just have liked LSU to have another skin on the wall there

2012 Bama was absolutely the most devastating moment I've ever witnessed in Tiger Stadium. I stamped the bleachers so hard after that screen pass I injured my right knee and it took me two years to fully recover.

The worst part is my wife "lost" her ticket outside the stadium before the game (likely pickpocketed). It got resold to a Bama fan so sitting next to him for 3 1/2 hours was real fun.

2005 Outback Bowl- Iowa. Still pissed at Saban calling a safety blitz with 1 play left in the game? Who does that?

56 yards later we had lost the game and my bet!

1969 vs OMiss in Jackson. That team should have been NC, IMO.

Who's to say Okie St wouldn't have beat LSU in New Orleans? 2011 LSU had some glaring weaknesses, not the least at QB position

2012 Bama broke me. Ripped my hat when Yeldon took that screen pass to the end zone.
