re: On a scale of 1-10, how surprised are you about the mediocrity of this LSU baseball team?

I wouldn’t say mediocre

You played msu in one of toughest environments in college baseball

You should have won 2/3 against Fla

It doesn’t get any easier with ark vandy and Tenn two on the road

The sec schedule makers didn’t do lsu any favors

Thank God none of yall are on any ranking committee. Yea the #8 team in the country is mediocre. And 3-1 up votes vs down votes. Lmao. Some big ole pansies here.

Felt like Jay Johnson brought in some key pieces. I didn’t necessarily think we’d be as good as last year, but I had no idea the decline would be this steep.

We are 6 games into SEC play. You don't really have a clue how steep the decline is or isn't. It's a long season. I'm very happy some of you chicken littles aren't coaching these teams and ready to blow them up and move on. The rant left last years team for dead several times. How about see how this team develops and if they can improve the weaknesses and make a run.

I’m not surprised Bingham is a disappointment though - SEC outfielders are a different animal.

11. I didn't expect us to run the table, but Ibdid expect us to be competitive in every game we play.

We're fricking getting run-ruled on a weekly basis, lol.

maybe a 6ish. We knew what Tommy White and Pearson were about, but besides those 2 there were a lot of questions to be answered offensively. We know that both Travinski and Jones could be weapons offensively but really didn't play an every day role in last years team and they are doing ok this year. The real test has always been the beginning of SEC play and right now there are a few guys that are just not playing worth a shite, namely Kling, Milam, and Neal. We had nothing but question marks on the weekend rotation going into the season. Holman has been a bright spot and Jump is doing a pretty good job, but I don't see Hurd as a weekend guy. I know there were a few bad breaks on Sunday but teams always seem to hit Hurd hard.

The talent level is there, but that's not equating to on field play thus fore in SEC play.

You don't have to be the best team all year as long as you're the best team in June.

They aren’t mediocre dipshit. It’s a team full of superstars who haven’t quite figured out their roles yet.

To act like they’re ‘mediocre’ is juvenile. Yea, we haven’t had the results that we think they should be getting as fans, but give them time to click. They went from playing nobodies to playing tough SEC teams

6, I just didn't see the offensive production in the line up and knew we would lose some close games. I didn't think the pitching would be why we are loosing alot of games.

A grand total of two games is now a “weekly basis”

It’s pretty ignorant to crucify a team about being mediocre when they are ranked number 8. It’s a long season.
