LSU has all its eggs in a basket they can’t hang on to. He’s not leaving Oxford.

I don't think they'd be under dogs against Miami. They've looked bad lately.

That bracket is disgusting. Bama, OM, ATM, Tulane, OSU, Texas Tech, and Notre Dame? fricking gross. This is my least favorite year of CFB ever.

Sorry LSU fans, he is staying at Ole Miss either way. They treat him good as gold and he loves the culture and the mind blowing white women.

I'll lead off my opinion by saying I don't like Lane Kiffin and I think that he is an offensive genius, but I find him overrated as a head coach and we've got a 20-year sample size of him as a head coach at 5 different stops that make me feel validated in that opinion.

Even last year he had IMHO one of the more talented teams in the country, the No. 1 portal class that his school went out and paid top dollar for and a veteran QB who is now starting in the NFL and lost to 3 inferior teams talent wise include us (yes we were less talented than Ole Miss last year without question) and did not make a 12 team playoff.

Having said that he's done his best job this year - his team this year is not as talented as his team last year. Have to give him credit. He should stay there. I'm not convinced his best year will be the norm now all of a sudden.

Ole Miss ain’t beating ATM and Bama/Oregon back to back to even make the championship. They would probably beat Miami in the first round and that’s it.

I would like to see aTm play Texas first before I would agree.

While aTm passes the eye test of being one of the best in the SEC, they have objectively played the weakest SEC schedule of anyone. Based on current standings, they did/do not play #2, #3, #4, #6, #7, #9 in the SEC. They play almost the entire bottom half of the SEC except Texas which is next weekend. They caught lightning in a bottle by having a really good team and getting an easy arse schedule.

This is hilarious when you’re talking about their chances vs. Ole Miss. You could replace every instance of “Texas A&M” with “Ole Miss” and the post would make just as much sense.

While you’re right that Texas A&M has a weaker SEC schedule, it’s not that much different than Ole Miss’ (also weak arse) conference schedule.

Meanwhile Ole Miss has the weakest overall schedule in the entire SEC.. and went 1-1 in their only 2 games against teams who are currently ranked.

Both teams have been beneficiaries of extremely weak SEC schedules. But A&M played Notre Dame OOC while Ole Miss played Washington State.. (and only because Wake Forest cancelled on them. )

thats the hardest path, No way they beat UM, A&M, Then Alabama and then OSU. I would bet they get knocked out of the first round.

Imagine being Kiffin and passing on this opportunity to possibly get bounced before or during the playoffs.

I think you should take the opportunity.

Ole Miss has played UGA and OU, both of whom have had to beat good competition to be in the top 10. They beat OU and had a lead on UGA in the 4th qtr but couldn't finish them off.

I'll give you that aTm played ND early in the season, but ND's only win is against USC, so I would argue they are overrated right now.

I hope he stays. I’d rather Ole Miss be somewhat relevant and Kiffin has done a great job there.

If Kiffin wants to jump, he probably needs to prior to the playoffs. I doubt OM fares well.

With all the distractions I’ll be surprised if they beat miss state next week.

Sadly I don’t think anybody is beating Ohio State. And TAM is really impressive when that QB is hot. He was a man among boys in the 2nd half last weekend. Ole Miss probably makes it to the second round. Maybe final four depending on bracket. That’s it. And that’s assuming the Apple cart isn’t turned over next week.

zero chance. Kiffin will come to lsu with a crazy contract for a HC that has never won anything anywhere, and never will. Sounds about right for LSU.

Nah they will always run into someone with significantly more talent that isn’t coached by a complete retard
