Why should I want to pay college kids to play ball? They should just start a minor league for football

This right here. You are basically paying a player so they can continue to play in college vs a minor league, which enriches the universities with their media contracts, all while they continue to charge more in tuition than a degree is worth to students in school for the right reason.

The system is broken and reasonable people know that which makes it hard to participate in this dumpster fire.

monthly donations as an annual amount. Place that annual amount in the fund you'd like to donate to. Instead of paying now, you click the "pledge now and pay later" option. Submit. Then go to "manage my giving" and you can then set it up monthly and make the first payment. It should be more clear than that but it's not.

Feel like this is peak LSU. Instead of an easy straight forward thing we have to have it be a task to get right. How hard would it be to have e streamlined that?

correct. I have ZERO interest in paying into the creation of a pro league.

because at this time, the schools cannot pay the players directly. It must come from 3rd parties.

Ok, then let’s give back to the fans, by reducing some of the cost imposed by the university, so that “trade off” can be put into the pot for players.

All that not aimed at you. It’s just incredibly frustrating seeing the culture we have where people won’t invest in things bc “I don’t know where that money is gonna go”. Same people who don’t vote to increase funding for schools and roads then wonder why it’s all getting so bad

No, I won’t invest money where I don’t get a direct benefit unless it’s charitable cause. LSU could win zero games and it wouldn’t affect me in the least. I still have my family, friends, other hobbies, things will be just fine.

I totally agree! The people who get on here bitching about being out bid for players is absurd. Put your money where your mouth is.

On another note all the athletes we have in the pro’s making big bucks also need to give back to the university that helped them get to where they are today!

You do realize that all of the posters on this site could give $1000/month and Larry Ellison could have still written a bigger check for Underwood?

Its the world we live in. If this is your mindset then don't complain when you see a bad product on the field.

What if you donated to TAF? Should you quit and give it to our collective?

Another question, can you designate which sport you want to help in the collective?

Especially when the school is paying millions to coaches not to coach.

I have no problem with people who don't wanna donate to NIL SO LONG AS they also do not bitch about the roster or recruiting. Like it or not, this is the way CFB is. If you don't like it or don't wanna contribute, that's fine. Just don't complain.

They can continue to get my support from my viewership, sacrifice of my time & my $ on shirt's, caps & whatnot.

They could add a few bucks to each ticket, a couple bucks on caps and shirts, a dollar to concession items. They’d make bank and we would still be getting something in return.

And yes, I’d gladly pay a yearly fee to use this site.
