Okay then don't donate. That's your prerogative.

I just logged in to donate, but I can't seem to find an option that makes it an automatic, monthly recurring draw. Am I missing something?

I have a huge problem with players getting paid at the collegiate level.

But I'm not going to cut my nose off just to spite my face on this one. I set up monthly donations on my TAF page.

It's a shame college sports has come to this.

Select the option to “pledge now, pay later.” You put the total amount of your donation for the year for the sport you want to support. Then, go to your TAF member page and “set up payment schedule.” Your total donation will be there and you can set it up for whatever amount each month.

If you bleed purple and gold, you should consider getting some skin in the game and donating to the cause. Unfortunately, at this time, the universities cannot pay the players directly so it must come from 3rd parties.

Wrong on all counts.

But I get that your website requires LSU to be relevant.

It helps hired guns wearing LSU colors, logos, uniforms, and playing & practicing in LSU facilities possibly be better on the field.

The amount of holier than thou sentiment in this thread is hilarious.

Don't want to give to the collective? Ok that's cool. Don't try and call out others that want to though. It's their money, they can do what they want with it and if they want to have a hand in landing high school recruits and transfers then so be it.

The people downvoting this original post is sad. If you don't want to donate, then don't, but the thread was started for the people that do want to donate.

It says I have to contact them if I want to donate more than $5,000. I don’t want to talk to anybody to do this.

LSU just can’t make this simple. They probably paid someone to come up with the site lay out and donation and they did a bad job.

Well, having less money in the NIL era certainly isn't a good thing for talent acquisition if that's what you're asking.

Also this thread sure makes it easy to spot those that have more money than sense (which is maybe 1 of you nerds) and the rest of you that live paycheck to paycheck which is in general financially irresponsible people
Carry on

Someone mentioned they should take two times a game to do a NIL drive. Have a link that you can text your name, companys name whatever and an amount and link it to a credit cared. If they did this for every game say ask for minum 10 $ donation. They could reasonably make 40-50k a game! You think anywhere from 80-90k at a game and 50% make a donation at 10$ a person that has potential to be 500k a game.

I haven't seen many here calling out people who are donating. It's your money, do with it as you please.

People are calling out the pandering nature that college football has become. Asking fans to foot the bill for a bunch of mercenaries going to the highest bidder. Teenagers that will make more before they turn 21 than alot of fans will make in their lives.

It's a disgusting era of "college" athletics. Although I agree with the sentiment that if you don't want to participate then don't bitch about recruiting and whatnot.

That's fine by me and I think alot of people will become less interested and engaged with college athletics if this continues.
