I was under the impression LSU just created this and it was all just really disorganized and very chaotic but is the primary reason why Austin Thomas was brought back. So Im not suprised we are a little behind. It doesn't seem to have been marketed very well however.

If I remember correctly, they also had cool incentive programs with their donation packages or that was Alabama.

I stopped donating to TAF years ago, when they stopped sending magnets and perks with the PMAC. Just a little added incentive should come with my money. Not just the privilege to enjoy my Aramark concessions at a high mark up.

I’ll donate, happy to. Curious though what the fees the collective takes off the top of this for their management/salaries etc.

As an LSU alum who can now afford it, I’ll pass while Brian Kelly is the coach.

You should not have any problem with players getting paid when you consider the billions of dollars in revenue generated by college sports.
If sports generate billions why are fans being asked to donate?

LSU already receives tax money from the state. Google says around 170 million and I’m sure it’s more than that.

It's such a joke how crowdfunding your football roster is now the norm, and everyone just goes along with it. Even the NFL doesn't stoop this low, and I hate the NFL

I'd put up with all of it crashing and burning. Having to put up with 5 terrible years would be worth it.

Since I'm in school I can easily do a $10/mo thing. Slightly more when I'm full-time and then the full 100 when I'm established.

I'm just curious if LSU needs to tailor TAF to help out NIL since that turns off a lot of season ticket holders. I used to be one before I started school to finish. The TAF fees are why I stopped.

because at this time, the schools cannot pay the players directly. It must come from 3rd parties. That could all change in the future, especially if the players become employees of the school...until then, we need to be competitive within the current system.

The website should make it easier to just set a monthly donation and forget about it. Have to go through steps of making a total pledge and then setting up a payment schedule seems needlessly complicated.

This isn't great but how you really cut the amount schools pay or boosters is that you tie NIL to Title IX because most years no school is gonna have an Angel Reese or Livvy Dunn

All those donors for Ole Miss just to lose to BK and his 7 donors.
