OU is gonna beat the heck out of LSU. Will not be able to block them.

Sooner defense will eat the Tiger offense alive.

I had no hope with Nuss against them. With MVB, I at least have a little bit of hope since he may be able to get out of the pocket and run or dump it off. But it's not a good matchup for our offense at all.

now do the other side of the ball...

Our biggest weakness is O line, their biggest strength is D line... this is matchup nightmare for us.

Unless we get a few pick sixes I don't see us winning this one

What?

OU is an objectively terrible matchup for LSU, on both sides of the ball.

Beating Oklahoma could cement Wilson as our next HC

Surprisingly these are the same comments made in preparation for the OU game last year. We beat that team by 20!

Their team this year isn't much different from last year. They beat Bama, and lost to Texas and Ole Miss both seasons. They do have a significant advantage, however as being the home team this year.

Our OLine vs their D line is probably the worst matchup all season, are you high?

We need to run a lot of RPO's in that game. Can't fall behind by 14 either.

Look for a lot of screens. Since, it will be the last game before the bowl, maybe they will allow more read option as well.

OU has the best defense of anyone on our schedule, in my opinion. I don't personally see this as a good matchup for us, especially on the road. Our defense will have to be close to perfect for us to win that game. Not impossible if the offense can find a running game and MVB plays within himself, but I feel like a win would require a little luck.

People aren't talking about OU's special teams either. Against Bama they blocked a FG, forced a fumble on a punt return, had two punts inside the 10 (one was returned to the 18 but still netted inside the 20), got 2 stops on kickoffs before the 25, and had a 42 yard punt return. Plus their kicker, as much as people only want to talk about him because of the shorts, is 21/22 on the year including 7/7 on 50+ yarders

OUs average starting field position against Bama was around their own 45, damn near midfield, while Bama's was their own 20. It's bad enough that our OL is such a bad matchup against their DL but we're most likely going to have to drive a longer distance than them to score. We just had a punt block TD against Arkansas and haven't really been good defending returns either.

This is an awful matchup for us honestly. I don't think OU is going to score 40 but this could easily be like a 23-6 kind of game, I just don't see us scoring much

Well Baker stopped one of the top offenses in the country on saturday. 15 points by Ark is unbelievable and yes TO played a part in that too but the goal line stand and the stop on 4th and 1 against AL show this defense is playing at a high level and with defense like that anything is possible.
