Let’s dissect this one.

3,180 capacity
Turf playing surface
Last renovation was 2012

My first thoughts are no way does a good baseball program like Oklahoma who just had a national title appearance in recently sit back in the SEC with this for long.

Not saying they need a Mack daddy state of the art monster stadium but man come on. This is going to potentially keep them from hosting a regional if they’re on the fence up against almost any other SEC venue.

To be fair, UGA’s is only 2,700, Mizzou is only 3,300 and Vandy is only 3,700

Turf should be banned from SEC stadiums.

It's simple. Baseball is a non profit sport, so many schools don't invest in it as much as LSU.

OU baseball park is very sun belt type stadium. It’s not bad, but it’s not good

If the weather was better, I imagine this would be a Tiger Takeover from us Texas folks.

We made the trip because we have family in Norman and this is by far the most pathetic college baseball stadium I've ever been in - considering all things. If anyone has been to Port Allen and seeing the fields that the travel ball teams play on this is just a bigger version of that.

Oklahoma would never be denied a regional if given the chance. The SEC wouldn’t let that happen

outfield is all straight lines too so the edges of centerfield would be longer than 411.

pretty big field.

Not many schools can afford to put a bullpen under aluminum bleachers

Not certain on Oklahoma but I can for damn sure see Texas doing a major overhaul on their stadium after seeing all of these other SEC stadiums.

Texas wants to flex their money rightfully so.

Dang so OU field is bigger than Alex Box.

Gonna be a ton of warning track power in this series I’m afraid

It was said somewhere on tRant that with the stadium orientation and prevailing winds that it will be blowing in from the outfield fence also.

I’ve watched a game there. Glorified 6A Texas High School field. They will have to do something.

Bingo. Football and men's basketball are the money makers for pretty much every athletic department out there. Not many schools make a profit on baseball, we're one of those few.
