I NEVER in a million years expected them to get that one right. I mean, had they overturned it, I don’t think anyone outside of LSU would have thought it fishy. I thought the refs were really solid. Not perfect by any means — but solid and seemingly balanced.

The most obvious missed call went LSU’s way - the missed facemask on the punt return
WUT???? =
I don't understand why no call was made, but it had ZERO impact on the result.
OR - do you think Saban would have taken the TD off the board in order to enforce the facemark violation???
Again - a flag SHOULD have been thrown - zero doubt about that - but to claim the no-call actually had a bad outcome for bama is just stupid.

I agree there, they could have spotted and ran chain gang out for measure. The BS Gary was saying about not changing spot if it wasn't a first down was horseshite

Clydes incredible 1st down stretch in the 3rd quarter( I think) that wasn’t given to him was pretty bad
True - but I could have forgiven not giving him the 1st down - but to take away the extra yard he gained was very very bad

quote:agreed but it was also a great play by the DB with the ref behind him to reach out the way he did. Should have been called but i can see how the ref didn’t see it
The PI on Chase that wasn't called in the 1st half had me worried.

Not only did they screw us on the 1st down but they spotted the ball a yard back. Normally I’d say that was unreal but there were so many calls like that which didn’t even get noticed all you can do is curse and hope they don’t outright steal the game.

Yeah that stretch should have been a confirmed first down. People that say the Moss catch went our way just don't understand the rules. It was just a straight up correct call.
Yeah, people are biased, I am when I'm watching the game. But I thought that would get overturned. The reason it was the correct call was because the ruling on the field was that moss was forced out by the defend so did not have to reestablish. That isn't reviewable so the first toe tap, which was in, means it's a TD. If the second needed to be in it may have been stands or overturned, it was hard to see definitively, IMO.

Gary has a habit of making up rules that don’t exist or just lying to cover for Bama.

They were typical Bama refs.
Negative. Moss' pass being called a completion and the late hit call on Bama after our interception are not calls we'd usually get over there. They also called a targeting call that didn't stick on Bama.

They didn’t call that targeting hit, it was just reviewed by the booth. And play that hit side by side with the Devon White targeting call and see how fair it looks.

That rule is retarded. Gary said if it’s not ruled a first down on the review, they can’t advance the ball at all. It goes back to the original spot. So basically the ref just ignores the actual spot of the ball. Dumb AF

Someone on the right side of their d-line was offsides so many times last night, I was hoping Oregeron would get into the refs ear about it.
Posted on 11/10/19 at 8:01 am to LSU6262
the refs let the guys play for the most part, i have no complaints.

I agree. Missed the hold on Chase and facemask on Burrow, but they were good basically all night
And fm on burrow. The other 7 officials all have their own keys and zones to follow also that stuff all looks very different from field level and the speed that it happens up close
The biggest miss of game was illegal block below waist on lsu back on key play
Posted on 11/10/19 at 8:10 am to LSU6262
It was pretty good. I credit that to the fact it was such a big time game to watch that the SEC knew they couldn’t screw it up
Posted on 11/10/19 at 8:12 am to LSU6262
Yeah that missed facemask call where the Bama almost took off K’Lavon
