Yea, some missed calls both ways, but for the most part they actually let them play

I counted more for Bama but at least it was relatively shitty for both sides.

I agree. Missed the hold on Chase and facemask on Burrow, but they were good basically all night

Best correct call was Moss’ “twinkle toe tap.”

Agreed, mostly. Still shocked they let the call on the field on the Moss catch stand.

Bama is so used to getting every call every game I really think last night was a culture shock for them. Hope they get used to it bc once Saban retires that’s their new reality

That rules “expert” guy on CBS is such a fricking joke.

Yes it was pretty even. The PI on Chase that wasn't called in the 1st half had me worried.

In the 2nd half, when they reviewed the spot of Bama's failed 4th down conversion, I though they were going to give it to them.
I'm sure Bama fans are mad about the incredible Moss toe tapping catch.

But I thought it was an even handed game for the refs.

It didn’t just stand it was outright confirmed.

I was at the game, brother, and I assure you that Bama fans thought the officials were in LSU’s pocket. I have to admit that I encouraged it by talking, soto voce, to my friends about contributing to the referee fund.

It was god awful, we got jobbed the entire second half and they swung the game by at least 2 possessions keeping Bama in it. They were typical Bama refs.

Yeah, lots of missed calls for both sides but when reviews came up they made correct calls.

That being said, missed calls are inexcusable at this level even when both sides are being treated the same. It changes the game in shifts of momentum and ultimately changes outcomes.

Missed the hold on Chase and facemask on Burrow,

The most obvious missed call went LSU’s way - the missed facemask on the punt return. The most controversial call went LSU’s way - Moss’ reestablishment inbounds. (Correct call, I think)

I wouldn’t say that play went LSU’s way

How did that go LSU's way? Bama scored.

Clydes incredible 1st down stretch in the 3rd quarter( I think) that wasn’t given to him was pretty bad.

Yeah that stretch should have been a confirmed first down. People that say the Moss catch went our way just don't understand the rules. It was just a straight up correct call.

That was confirmed, not letting the call stand. It was called he was pushed out so they got it right.
Gary and his referee buddy in the booth got it wrong. And were really upset that they were wrong to the fact they had to find an explanation during halftime

But called the phantom hold on Fulton. +2 to Bama on Def holding calls.

Did Bama OL have a single hold called all night?
