That would have been a homerun in a cylo.
That ball was thrown like a stream of milk.
That ball landed like a mosquito to bare meat.

If he says base knock one more time, I'm going to jump into the TV and punch him in the neck.

Why did he keep saying next weeks game in Eastern time?

Coastal Carolina is on Eastern Time. Also, it's the default time zone that ESPN uses.

Lynn is pretty ridiculous, but I find him entertaining. I think most people here all agree Ben is the man. Not sure what the public perception on him is as he is not just a regional guy like Lynn is.

I'll say this... I watched a handful of games (mostly through bases loaded), and there are a LOT of really boring and seemingly awful announcers out there. I think it was the Florida State regional that was I couldn't wait until it switched to something else because I couldn't stand to listen to the announcers.

Actually I think it was Lyn that said followed up with "and the other half are covering their nachos and cold drinks", then said "that's 3 halves"

My absolute favorite, which wasn't even a metaphor, Chris cotton was on the team and mainieri put him on during a post season game. Lynn Rollins says:

"And Chris cotton is coming to the mound. I guess you could call coach mainieri a cotton picker"

I died.

ETA: I think that may have been one that Ben said "I'll take your word got it, I don't know what that is"

He also said twice (though not a metaphor or simile) something to the tune of "Small children haven't ever seen the sunlight in Baton Rouge" that made me embarrassed for him
