Checking in to eat the sweetest crow ever. I never envisioned a team like this when he became head coach. I never did or would pull against my Tigers, I just thought it would be a continuation of the last few Miles years at best.
I’ve never been more happy to be so wrong. Kudos to O, the staff, and these players for turning things around. We not just comin’, we here! And we ain’t done yet either!!

Says the guy that will argue with the same people every single day for pages and pages then accuse them of disappearing in the call out threads.

In. I was harsh towards him but he’s earned all the respect I can give.

The moment I saw that after game CBS interview with him and his wife’s emotion of happiness they exuded for the players and the state of Louisiana, I couldn’t have been more wrong about Coach O and his abilities.
My sentiments exactly, Nitrogen. That took my breath away (pun intended).

Turned out to be right
So was Ben Coleman, god rest his soul.
But there's plenty of other discussion threads you can enter and not argue, but that's not you.

I'm active in several other threads right this second that aren't arguing. Take your lies elsewhere

In. I didn't like O's hire at the time, but he's done everything he said he would do, I'll admit I was wrong. Beating Bama is the benchmark for success, and he did it.
same here...
texted one of my buddies last night, an ardent O supporter from day 1, and told him i'm on board the O train, and he didn't beat me over the head with i told you so or anything... just simply said, good, i saved you a seat...

Official “I was wrong about O” thread
I posted about eating crow in the official thread last night. I said he could never bear Saban. I was wrong and am happy to be. Great run this seaso.
And while my full assessment of O could be wrong, this is a great year and we should enjoy it, but the previous years show cracks that could easily return. Brady was a great hire, and probably the most important choice of O's LSU career.
I still believe O is 100% reliant on his hires, and while it works when he makes good ones, see Brady, I still fear what happens if changes start to be made, that's inevitable though.
He has obviously done a good job this season (contrary to last season), and I wouldn't argue over a contract extension. (But no one should ever do a 7+ year contract extension).
I still think Alleva was the biggest problem.

I was one of the people that everybody ridiculed because I wanted Ed O. He is a Tiger fan in the depths of his heart. I knew he would do his very best to make the Tigers succeed. He can recruit and he can motivate.
So to all the people who gave me a ton of shite .
Thanks O.

If there ever where people who actually “hated” him, I can’t understand that.
But to be upset with the hire and skeptical of him as a coach is a different story. Given the way it went down and Orgeron’s resume at the time, it was perfectly justified. I think it was also appropriate to expect Orgeron to earn support from the fans because of that, as opposed to just being given it unconditionally from the start. The blame for much of this discontent goes to Alleva, in my opinion.
All the shills who were on here propping him up everyday with twisted stats didn’t help matters any. I mean, even leading up to this game there were still people claiming Ensminger is the reason for the success of the offense this season, in other words feeling the need to justify that decision of Orgeron’s. The constant flood of propaganda was unbearable at times.
But Orgeron did it. The Bayou Boy nobody wanted, proves everyone wrong and beats the most established dynasty in college football. If he wins the championship this year, they’re going to make a movie about him. The most reasonable goal we could ask of him was beating Alabama and he did it. Thanks to Orgeron’s transformation of the program, Alabama is no longer the insurmountable gate keeper they’ve been for the last 7-8 years. Even if we don’t win it all this year, you know we will eventually.
I am 100% supporting Orgeron from this point on.
