IN.

I hated the hire, was adamant that he would fail as a head coach.

COuldn't be happier to be dead wrong. Not only was I completely wrong, but I can't possibly love Coach O anymore. The way he loves this team, this university, this state. His passion. It gives me goosebumps.

I'm in. Didn't like the hire at first. He has proved me wrong.

SMH at all of the "I was wrong....but" qualifiers out there.

You were wrong. Period. That's it. Wrong. Eat your crow in silence.

I'll judge O on the full season. I'm not satisfied yet. I want to win the conference and the NC, if possible. I dont think the team is satisfied either.

Yep

Coaching evaluations are done over years. Right now he's won at an 80% clip, has what will likely be the best recryuting class ever. But it takes 8-10 years to cement a legacy.

I'm happy where we are, we have definitely improved and are on the upswing but this game is fickle and cutthroat.

Appreciate where he's brought us and have high expectations for the future, nut don't worship the guy. Too many emotional reactionaries around here

I wanted Jimbo and was pissed. Thought O was just a rah-rah guy who could recruit.

Maybe he still is, and maybe he can recruit position coaches as well.

I will enjoy my wrongness for the rest of this season.

I will fume when our passing coordinator gets 50 job offers though.

I was in disbelief when we hired him over Herman and Fisher. Swore I’d never give a penny to the program when we lost to Troy.

Feels very good to be so wrong.

I do remember arguing with you (and rickdaddy) quite often, especially regarding the OL. Arguing, not insulting... there's a difference. I also remember being called a retard by some (justice, meauxjeaux).

However, I was not a "all in", I was in the very skeptical but "wait and see" crowd. My thoughts were 'change the trajectory' and then see if he could win the west in 3 years. I'm a fan of defensive head coaches because they tend to get the offensive specialists and let them wreak havoc and do their thing. I had severe doubts that Orgeron would do that because of the tendency he showed at Ole Miss of being too hands on and involved in every thing. You can't run a program like that, and I was hopeful but doubtful he had learned that very very important lesson.

Welp, my skepticism has been shattered.

At this point the worry should be how to handle success, avoid complacency, and keeping focused.

NOT WORRIED! Thank you Coach O and same to all the Staff! It's a team in that lockeroom and on those whiteboards too. Same leader on the field and off.

I was completely wrong and I will accept that and I love the way the program is heading!

I hated the hire. I wanted Miles gone, but not like that. I was sure we would just become a mediocre program under O.

Man I have never been so happy to be wrong. Last night was amazing, but hopefully we keep this going and cap off this season winning the SEC and NC!

This is the most rationale thing you have maybe ever said on this board.

It also doesn't jive with how he posts. He posts stuff like that to look rational, then spends days arguing with anyone that has anything critical to say.

You should probably go back to your old SN since you're Welching on your ban bet.

Well regardless, I'm in too good of a mood to argue. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and try to celebrate this win with anybody who wants to celebrate.

Sure it does. You're only here to gripe, you're never here for regular discussions.
