According to Kelly, Nuss is the man.
Until someone else is unhappy with no playing time, transfers and beats Nuss out of #1.

Hold That Tiger 10 is easily the biggest a-hole on TD.

Burrow was very good at using audibles to create running lanes for himself, a la Joe Montana, but he was by no definition a dual-threat QB.
dual threat means can PASS and RUN
BURROW and FLYNN and MAUCK AND PERRILLOUX and JJ could all do it.
most so called dual threats cannot pass worth a shite. dude, burrow ran zone reads, QB draws and was a great scrambler.
MM, MF, RP and JJ all ran versions of the option.
GTFO

You have convinced me. You take stupid pills every day. Nobody can be this dumb naturally.

The most underrated part of Jayden this year is his development as a passer. Why are we to think this staff can’t develop Nuss? He’s not breaking 80yd runs and you are running a different offense next year, but why do we need to have that?

I'll play your game.
I think yes, you probably bring in a transfer, but the plan is to have Nuss start. You give him 1st team reps and do everything short of handing him the keys. The understanding is that it is his team unless someone beats him out and everybody understands that. What you don't want is players seeing you take someone that is in the program for 4 years, has been waiting his turn and doing everything he is supposed to do and is good enough to be the starter and you don't give him every chance to be the starter? That's how you lose a locker room, and all credibility on the recruiting trail.

If there is a guy out there that can replicate this season bring him in. Otherwise, I’ll take Nuss. He is a different qb than daniels, but could be really good with the right game plan. Next year is gonna be tough though whoever it is.

Burrow wasn’t a true dual threat guy. If you think just being able to run at all makes you dual threat than Nuss is dual threat too. They have about the same mobility.

Assuming he enters the portal and gets a waiver. The QB from Liberty, Salter would be my pick.
I assume he'll get a waiver because he "transferred" from Tennessee. He was an early enrolled then got kicked off the team during summer.

LSU has proven time and time again that they do not know how to develop qbs. Obviously, their best bet is to find a qb who has played elsewhere their first 2 years.

There’s few high level dual-threat QBs.
Not saying it won’t happen, but those guys just aren’t normally available.
Plenty of successful QBs aren’t dual-threat. Also, Nuss is not a stiff. He’s not a runner, but he’s athletic and can move if needed.

You are wrong Burrow was a dual threat. He scrambled a lot to make the passes. The only thing that’s makes a dual threat QB is the ability to pass FIRST. That’s what makes JD good he developed his ability to pass the ball. Last season he was not a dual threat he was a single threat.

Burrow ran for 600yds in B2B years. Dude was a very strong running threat both in designed plays & scrambled.

I’m a Nuss fan and I’m going to go out on a limb and say he want be the starter next year here at QB. Kelly will bring someone in and Nuss will transfer out
