I'm glad Alleva is gone. He never should have been hired after what he did at Duke.

However, the mob mentality involved is kind of disturbing. Wade has been exalted like some type of God (he's not, and I doubt he'll land any big recruits next year). There is no need to be blind to his faults - coaching and otherwise.

Any major media personality who remotely suggested that Wade may have done something wrong was blasted unmercifully. It really illustrates the dark side of social media.

"I don't care what he does as long as we win" is not a good look.

IDGAF

there are/were people in the LSU administration were have acted in a manner that's been decidedly anti-LSU.

Those people need to be gone

People want strong leaders.

Alleva has proven he simply does not invoke the kind of influence a strong AD should wield in critical moments.

You seem to have a very Myopic view of the Alleva Years.

I think few people are judging him on the WW debacle alone.

Alleva died a death from a thousand cuts.

Alleva had it coming, LSU should have never hired a man with such a punchable face. With a face like that, 1 hiccup and people are out for blood.

If we all agreed with you, would you then be forced to change your opinion?

Much like the NCAA, you can not prove this given the evidence available to us at this time.

A functional university would have removed him long before the fans had to get into an uproar.
