I am. We are. Nuss is healthy. We ran the ball. Must clean it up, but we're fricking back.

If we make the playoffs I don’t care how then we are back. We don’t make it then it’s another wasted year.

Nuss better be thanking the football God that he fell on the fumble during his qb sneak. Can you imagine if we don't at least get a fg there?

You can play the what if game until the cows come home.

Point is the offense appeared to trend in the right direction Saturday night…was it improvement, dumb luck, or a combination of both? I suppose we’ll see Saturday.

The Chris Hilton experience needs to come to an end, as does Bauer sharp getting regular reps. Neither of those guys bring absolutely nothing to the table at this point. Chris Hilton can’t catch a cold in the dead of winter; Bauer sharp can’t do anything productive.

Yep. And to me we started to find a little offensive identity. We’ll always be a pass-first team, but if we stay committed to the run, and stay committed to getting TDG the ball, we can beat just about anybody outside the Top2

So….they both bring something?

Nuss had better zip on the ball than any game this season. His deep ball was great in the game. A missed PI call on SC could have gone for a TD. Hilton dropping that pass was huge. The next play Nuss throws a dime in tight coverage to Durham.

The run game seemed better. I think they need to have a fullback/hybrid person leading the way. The RPO needs to go bc that is not in Nuss comfort zone. He can't read what he needs to read.

The only thing that worries me is the Red Zone play calling. Just use Green inside the 10 and they will be successful more often than not.

THANK YOU!! the coaching staff hasn’t been perfect but I’m getting sick of fans scapegoating every one of our issues on the coaches. These NIL players get paid millions of dollars now. Fumbling for ball at the goal line, throwing a goal line pick and dropping a deep ball that would’ve set us up deep in enemy territory is inexcusable. The player gotta execute better that simple

I have my reservations about Kelly, but liked his response about the INT on the goal line. He said the safety was the QBs responsibility and you know he was trying very hard to not blow a gasket when he was talking about it and he’s absolutely right in that instance. A 5th year QB should NEVER make that mistake. Time to hold Nuss to the fire and expect him to perform to his NIL value.

Defense is elite, offense is below average. BK cannot seem to put together a complete team.

This sounds dumb. BK has put together elite offense. He’s put together elite defense. Why would anyone think he can’t put that together in a season.

Meanwhile, Nuss's players are seeing their draft stock weekly. "

So what...the players are seeing their draft stock weekly- oh boy!

‘’ No fumble, No end zone interception, and a deep ball drop ”

Yeah, if we do the routine things right we might be a good team, unfortunately we don’t.

Because he hasn't. At least at LSU.

This season feels a lot like 2023 right now. You knew pretty quickly LSU was elite on one side of the ball, but really bad on the other. In 2023 everyone kept waiting for the adjustments to make the defense at least average...even slightly below average. They never came. Even after what seemed like a change by holding Auburn to 18 a week after giving up 39 to Missouri. Two weeks later the defense couldn't stop Alabama, at all, and allowed Florida to score 35. Daniel's remarkable performance beat Florida (despite the awful defense) and had LSU's defense shown any type of pulse, the Alabama game could have gone differently.

LSU's horrible offensive play didn't just suddenly arrive at Ole Miss. Despite good yardage numbers last season, Sloan's offense was very inefficient in scoring. LSU had all offseason to change the approach to fix that issue...and they didn't. The offense looked the exact same in the first half of this season. Only now, opponents had 13+ games of tape to really hone in on the weaknesses.

With LSU's defense this season, the offense doesn't have to be elite. Or even great. It just has to be average to slightly above average. Given the talent at the skill positions that should not be an issue. Yet it is, a BIG one, and potentially the anchor that ruins another championship opportunity.

IMO, the next two weeks (really this whole season) are Kelly's Waterloo. If the offense shows life and LSU gets both wins, they are set up well for a CFP push in November with a 1-loss margin for error with trips to Alabama and Oklahoma ahead of them. But lose either of these next two games because the offense still shitty then Kelly will lose the fanbase for good and, more importantly, the trust of the donors. You can't make a strong call to arms for NIL funding, get it, then completely waste an opportunity for the 2nd time in 3 years. He won't be fired because the buyout will be too big. However, the donors will not have the faith to give him the money he will ask for...which means we will spend the next two season just "running out the clock" until he can be exiled.

With Nuss, its the mistakes for me. The silly interceptions. Like it has to stop if LSU is going to get where it wants to go. Not all on him of course but silly stuff like that is gonna get you beat from now on.
